Just brought a mars hydro 300w (180w) actual draw

Is this the model with the 5 watt chips or 3 watt chips.

I'ts got 5watt chips because it's got 60 chips x 5watts=300.Ihave been using there 3watt older model and it works fine so i see no reason this one shouldn't do the same.

Iv seen 1 plant grow that yielded 3 oz off just 1 of these .. Only brought to supplement my 125w cfl until I have the money for a gn hs1

I have two 300 watt old style, 3 watt x 100, Great light for the money. You can grow monster plants. Each light covers about 2x2 ft quite nicely. I use one plant under each light. Here's a shot of some of my results.

The Vision Northern Lights was very forgiving. My first autoflower grow using miracle gro and cfl's. Yielded about 1 1/2 oz. Very, very potent. I have reordered a couple VNL and will be running one on my next grow in a few weeks. Can't wait to give it another try now, very excited, I think I can train her into a monster.
