this plant was in a 3 gallon growbag. it was never watered more than 3 times in a week, usually twice.

In 5 gallon growbags, I weigh the bag by hand and if its lite, I water. even in the greenhouse, the most I needed to water was every other day. if you want root mass, don't over water!

My last plant I just chopped was watered daily through most flower in the end she drank lots, pulled 175g from..... Roots looked amazing when I tossed her main stem thumb size round....

Like pop has said though every plant is different my quick one I didn't water daily and only 54g from but I don't think she could have drank daily. Basically if you want to water daily then water less more frequently. Doing this will give you a bigger plant than watering every few days I believe, again some disagree, because when the plant is hungry she can drink those nutes up. where if she's watered every few days and she's hungry, maybe no nutes are here so she just goes hungry... Dumb high terms basically.

And thus, we need to know our plants! different plants seem to consume water at different rate, also humidity, temperature, etc, are variable that can change their needs. So what we do is begin with a method that avoids over watering and adjust as we go. Eventually, you should be able to judge just by looking at your plants. The lower fan leaves will droop slightly, hours before the rest of the plant shows any sign of needing water.

This guys a pro listen to him....

My normal schedule for watering is 2xweekly until midway through flowering at which time every other day. Of course that was with hps and T5, leds keeping about 13 degree lower temps give or take few degrees.

I have lots and lots of plants, heck I got a pineapple in every room even, I approach watering from the mindset that it's easier to fix an under watered plant than it is to fix one that's been over watered. Also in my life I've never seen one die fromlack of water but have seen some get root rot from too much water and never recover.
