SUP ALL.. got a ques...so I need to fix one of my panels..its a 120w or so had it custom from China couple years back..still works good but need to change the fans..instead of goin to deal with china right now been tryin to find a fan here but to no avail...most fans I found so far are 12v and all types of amps have seen some .15a but not 15v...I need a 15v .15a 80mm fan which is seemin hard to find.
Does anyone know if I used a 12v fan if it would be good or not..i think it would prob run faster but prob die faster too..then if the amperage isnt right...could be a fire hazard..so lookin for sum info on using a 12v to replace a 15v on what could happen etc...or if some1 has some links where to look for some..Gotta go through some boxes and see if im lucky to find the right one..

Voltage is quite important so you should try and get one the same. If you take the fan out there's probably a label on it with the part number of the fan - just google that and you should get something the same or similar.

I think a 12v fan will run at 15v, but as you are saying it will increase its speed,noise, and reduce its life time, try to get a quality brand as noctua or maby corsair, and u will have a fan who runs for a long time even at overvoltage. i just found this site ( lads who even run theyr 12v fans at 17 and 24v ) and this vid (hear the noise) so 3 volt over will imo not be that bad. i would at least give it a try if i couldnt get my hands in a new 15 volt fan.

Growing with a 45 x 3w LED Ufo. What distance from canopy would you LED gurus suggest?

I have a Blackstar 240uv that covers 3x2 and a Solar Storm400 that cover 4x4(up to 5x5 but 4x4 is recommended for flowering)
Does this mean I can have my grow area 6x4 so I can fit more plants in and still get the 400w results or better?

I've been down to 6" without problems but dealer recommended at 12". If you got plenty of coverage I'd go under 12" unless you're talking about seedlings

Hey what is evryons opinion on the hydrogrow extreme leds I just got the 21 x pro with those x2 lense? I also got this 300w led 9band light frow ledgrow factory from ebay. Any thoughts? I'm in a 3x2x5 tent

My apologies for the late response I've been hitting DPs Blue velvet the last few days so I'm a little wrecked lol.
The lights work well from what I have seen but they come from a company with a bad rep on the forums because of there conduct also the lights are very expensive compared to the competition.

I was going to buy the Blackstar 240w I found this 300watter on ebay. Turns out they are local to me. Messaged them they replied with a phone number and we talked extensively. All warranty work is done in house. Its cheap and the spectrums are almost identical to Blackstar. Hope I didnt go wrong but for $185 I thought it was worth a try. I just hung it over 2 Dragons and 2 JEMS that are about 40 days old.

Wooohooo Im in the Dragon club and the LED club. Life is good!

After 4 months, this light rocks. It has ran 24/7 with no problems. I turned this seller on to two friends and everyone is happy. Im off to buy another tomorrow. duece_bigalow2000 is the seller on Ebay.
