Live Stoner Chat Life is good

Well I just smoked my home grown chemdog,I'm drinking some good octoberfest beer, football starts soon or my hockey team is also on,It doesn't get much better than this, well unless a hot 20 yr old blond was sitting next to me but we all no that wont happen.:check:

I hear you Nammy. I was cutting some firewood until it got too hot, so enough for today. I was just out back running the German Shepards with the golf cart and stopped for a toke up on the back ridge. My favorite place to smoke with a great 10 mile view. The wife's got a pork roast in the crock pot and dinner is in an hour. We've been binge watching The Deadliest Catch and will likely finish up the last season tonight. I love being retired and waking up in the morning and deciding what I feel like doing that day.

Good for you Muddy. Were you running with the dogs and the wife was driving the cart? The wife got mad at me yesterday because I fired up the John Deere to go check my apple trees that are only 15 yards from the house.Idon't understand why she thought that was wrong.:roflcry:

 Jeez, I can't understand why that would upset her. I take the cart when I go to the hydro shed, which is only about 150' away from the garage. No, I wasn't running with the dogs, I was driving. If I ever decide to run with them, just go ahead and call 911. Tell them to bring the oxygen. :yoinks:

What kind of Octoberfest? I like Spaten when I can get it.

Is retirement scary? And I don't mean economically.....hope the question makes sense.

I think it can be for people who live through their jobs and don't have other interests. I looked forward to retirement and retired as soon as I could at 62. Between maintaining my 17 acres, 8 dogs, chickens, guinea fowl, and my grows, I've got plenty to keep me busy. I always wanted German Shepards but knew I wouldn't have time to train them when I was working. Now I have the time. I don't wake up to an alarm anymore and if I feel like sitting on my ass all day, so what. Nothing is that pressing that it can't wait until tomorrow. So for me, it's a joy and in a lot of ways has become the most fulfilling time in my life.
