Yes…. I was just looking at the website for that scynce light and they don’t advertise what leds they use. Hlg practically slaps you in the face with the Samsung flag :rofl: :rofl: :rofl:

The means exactly nothing in the grand scheme of things my friend. But, just my two cents and what not…. :pass:
Very true...idk I'll have to check more into it...someone on here pointed me in it's direction.....looks nice has good ratings and has some cool capabilities....

Hlg uses Samsung. I think that is the part that matters the most, quality wise. Perhaps @Talonxracer can chime in on the matter. He seems to know more about that technical aspect of these lights.

I’m always wary when they try to sell bells and whistles, over the important parts of the product.

Probably bridgelux, which is a step down from Samsung, but workable and not bottom bin...
