100wt bulb equivalent now uses 15wt, that's some amazing shit.

Actually one big reason is solar. The more folks like you and I generate on our roofs, the less folks are paying the electric company. Some are even getting credit due to their systems. That has to have an impact. I can't wait until I put my system in.

My bill rose 55% since September. And its going up 10 or 12% next month. Only way anyone's ever gonna get me thinking about an electric car, is if electric is cheap. Not a good way to motivate the masses.

I know a guy who grows in the northeast is. He had converted to high end LEDs and then adds the old lamps in when temps fall….just for heat.

yup i still got a few on hand, but hell, ya can't even find em anymore in storez ....or at least not in my bumfuck town ppp
