I can plug in a coffee maker on the same breaker as the window ac a it breaks...

I betting that’s cause the AC unit has a ton of draw so anything else on the circuit is too much look at the sticker on the unit it should tell you the amperage draw

My 5000 BTU ac unit draws 5 amps on it’s own that’s almost half the load of the circuit
