Use bamboo skewers, not hardwood dowels. Hardwood will be broken down by the nute solution. Bamboo is far more durable.I was thinking that in the future, I would run dowels through the net cup, to prevent all the weight of the plant and LST from being on the lip around the edge of the cup. I could distribute that weight out to the full lid.
Then some eye bolts around the perimeter of the lid, to tie too.
I'm pretty rough with my LST and theres no way a binder clip would be able to hold back some of the tension I apply.
