Spent all day binging that new godzilla who on appleTV with my wife.
Then made homemade General Tsos chicken.
I'd give the recipe, but I'm sure @Fermented_Fruitz would have something to say about it, like "Hoison Sauce? You don't use that!"

Hoisin sauce, he would be ok with. But grape jelly doesn’t belong in Tso’s homie….
Getting our 1st snow storm in 2 years tonight and tomorrow. Supposed to get 8-10". But there's already 3" on the ground and supposed to snow for like 12 more hours

I don't really measure it.
I just mix up about a cup of soy sauce, rice wine vinegar, ketchup (for general tsos, leave it out if adding orange juice for orange chicken) sesame oil, hoisin and oyster sauce. Then add about 3tb of dark brown sugar.
I fry the chicken in a deep fryer. Coat it in corn start for a light exterior that holds the sauce well.
Then get some onions and garlic going in my wok, add the cooked chicken and the sauce, and let it get hot and let the sauce reduce a bit.
