I listen to funk/acid jazz pretty much every morning. Gives ya some head bob and some pep in the step to get your day goin. Will crank on some garage rock/punk or metal when I really need to get goin!

Being a product of the 70's, I love all the old whah whah, clavinet cop show/porn funk.

Not sure if it's still on or KPFA in Berkeley still broadcasts where you are, but there was a funk show on Friday's from 10-12 that was awesome. Two brothers from Oakland hosted it and were funny as a mofo with great tunes! If you happen to remember, check it out. You can stream it if the broadcast isn't there. A lot of other great music on there at night as well. Especially late night!

Yeah my dad was born in '65 and he exposed me to ALOT of different music growing up. He used to dj hot rod shows in huntington beach, and was really cool with the owners of Norwalk records. I have not heard that show you're talking about but I'll look and see if I can find any archive shows or tracklists from the shows.

A quick queshun, how long does it take for dry amendments to kick in? Specifically, Craft Blend from Build a soil. Two weeks? @Fermented_Fruitz, think you use the stuff.
