Morning @Mossy two years ago I went to the first Christmas with my wife's side that I had never met before. I got there they seemed ok just a little stage ( I was prewarned) and as they passed out gifts I surely expected nothing but to my suprised they hand me a gift...

I was thankful to the kind lady and when it came time to open everyone tore in. I waited helping the kids and when they were done the wife says hey open your see what you got so I did... it was a metal case with slightly torn plastic around it so I pulled it away and opened the container. It was a nail hygiene kit that had somehow gotten water to most of the instruments in it so they were now about 60% corroded and barely useable...

It was the worst gift I ever got even though it was small and unexpected it gave the wife and I a great luagh... sorry for the boring story but that's all I got lol

:coffee: Cracking......

Did you manage the Face though......you know the face that says you Love it and are delighted..even when you aren't...?

On the other hand I have been there when the unexpected Guest turns up with a gift..and you are tearing 'round the bedroom looking for something to gift wrap for them...:crying:

Top Tip..always have a WRAPPED bottle of Vodka..good chocolates..and a childs selection box under the tree..
if you get the unexpected guest they are covered and if Not..Bonus..you get to eat/drink them yourselves.

Top Tips to beat Christmas stress..magnesium baths and simply smoke more..:soak:..you know it make sense..

HEY Krug,

where you been chum, all good I hope ! Good to see you back. PM me with all the gossip. Been worried 'bout ya. I miss ya when you go awol.
Purrrrr Purrrrrr eP.

ps Frankenstein's monster is called Adam.

Good morning Stoners.
In the original book?
There have been so many versions of the story in every media.
OK, maybe not a comic book.

My favorite is Young Frankenstein but I still remember the chill that Karloff gave me as a young boy. It was pretty tame by today's graphic standards but it scared the hell out of me, my friends, and even my older brother who got saddled with taking his little kid brother and friends to the movie. We didn't usually agree on much but that night we agreed it was a good idea to leave the bedroom light on.

Anybody have a movie that they feel helped, or hindered, build what you are today? I'd say mine was "Something of Value". Sidney Poitier and Rock Hudson as friends in Africa until Poitiers character joined the Mau Mau rebellion. I lived in a white world where I had never seen a black person and the ending of that film stripped away any prejudice I might have grown into before I did. Maybe that is why they blacklisted it? A very powerful film. Even with all the violence that you would expect to breed hatred, the end scenes had just the opposite effect on me even today.

Christmas gift? I gave my brother in law a bag of buds in a box and when the wife wrapped gifts she put Johnny instead of John. His young son opened it and sadly asked why Santa brought him vegetables .

I guess Dr Frankenstein called his monster Adam as it was his first creation. A la Adam and Eve. Got a bit of a God complex eh ?

eP is doing magnesium massages for anyone unfortunate enough to be forced to go Christmas shopping this weekend..

Eh ? that is the first I have heard about this. Blimey, as if I wasn't busy enough. For Chrisakes, if it was anyone other that the gaffer, I would refuse, but "She Must Be Obeyed".

Form an orderly queue please.....no pushing at the back.....Yes YOU Feenix, ..........always one isn't there !

:eyebrows:--massages?!...tell me then, why do you have a fat bag of Mg suppositories and a hip holster of KY strapped on you- :nono: :eek1: :backside: :haha::rofl::haha::rofl::haha: ...Aunty would never do that to the rest of us,... 'cause we run faster than she does!! :crying:
