Personally I have never "flushed". I see no reason deprive a plant of anything before it is harvested. I bet this will become a contentious issue. Some will swear by the flushing method, and others will state the opposite.
No problem at all with debating this issue. But remember to play nicely children. Respect the others views and keep AFN a place where we can debate as adults.
I say this because past of history ! You know what I mean !

Qman, I love your avatar. As for the badge, I dunno. I just assume it means that you have been around long enough and have been a valued member, so you have been accepted as "One of Us"
And as Peteey says, there is now, no escape. I tried twice. I am not going to try a third time. Shudder the thought.

if its yellow let it mellow,if its brown FLUSH it down !
i dont think i have the taste buds to tell if something was flushed or not.
cannabis could be a lil wine wine.some winos can say oaky smokey fruity bla bla.to me its either red or white,dry or really dry.some folk have a hundred words for discribing smoke,me i have just a few.
organics v chemical nutes people will prob have diferent veiws on flushing to.
 
I took a few moments and thought before I posted. yes, its a contentious issue that I've tried to breach before. And that's not what I want.The problem is, there is almost no ways to make the point in a simple fashion. so I want doubters to do their homework as I did, its the only way I can see unless, or until, i get a response from a professional in plant biology.
Then again, i've been told right here on this forum, science doesn't matter, it works even if it totally contradicts science!

Well.....? Pop do you or don't you flush??
 
I think we can take it as read that Pop doesn't flush. Same as me. However, I can see that not feeding in the final week, or just using ph'ed water as some do, will also be fine.
IMHO, the value in growing a decent plant , is what you do in the bulk of it's life span. Give it the right nutes at the right time and all the other essentials. I personally think we get too hung up about the last few days of the plant, when the early days are what make all the difference.
Concentrate on that and you will reap the rewards.
Sadly Pop, there is good science and bad science. People will believe the science they want to believe. One can never win.

Archie, let me guess, you have a water meter ? Me too, lol
Have you taken it to heart like I have ? eP.
