Ok Time to fire up the 4x4 I have four lector autos going. The seeds were gifted to me by Sawney. lets watch these babies grow. I have at least 6 to 7 gallons of soil less mix per plant I have one bag with three plants in it two growing horizontal and one growing straight up. They are being fed Mega crop all in one bud Explosion and Miicrobialmass an Chitosal. Let the fun begin

Update on this Fantastic grow light. As I replace my Quantum boards it will be with this size or the fce 3000 to cover 8x8 grow tents. Due to electricity going through the roof I will use the controller to emulate the sun and significantly reduce my electric consumption it is the way of the future. You start out at a certain percentage climb to a peak then reduce just like the sun would due during the day. I have a few friends running this system and have seen an increase in end of weight which was a concern. Welcome to the future of grow lights and reduction of your carbon footprint.

Here is a update on the Mars 4800 fce grow light. These lector Autoflower plants are loving the light. I hang the grow light a little higher from day 1 and let the plant stretch just perfect to it imo.A great powerful light IMO @Marshydro

did you already implement your sun-imitating lightscedule? will you calculate the DLI as target or on what do you decide which power they get when and for how long. Imitating the sun is nice, but is it equator sun-scedule or is it a alaskan 20h daylight "sun" ...exaggerated a bit...you get the point.
In a vid I saw, the plants do just take some minutes to "wake up" and go to full photosynthesis, but as it's about the buds, i'll closely watch for the results.
As there seems some experimental success, perhaps some professional growers throw some more science at it.

I sure will tag you in. I do believe that allot of the bigger industrial size growers that are switching to this design of light and it seems all the major players are adopting to the timer and using it. So let's see what happens.

I have done quite a bit of defoliation on these but I usually do to most of my auto flower plants I find it produces more bud then topping for me any how. This light helps to bounce back extremely fast faster then other lights i have used. This set up is so good all you need is a couple of small fans and 8 inch Booster fan for exhaust and passive air intake. Using Mars Hydro Tent you have the mesh window I use that for intake and open up all the screens. So I have eliminated a 4 inch inline intake and and a 6 inch inline exhaust which consume huge amounts of power. So Iam happy LOL

The "smart" controller for this light just came out. Allows you to set timers and dimming schedules through your phone. It replaces the dimmer box already on the light. It's like $17 including shipping and looks very interesting

Here is a update @Mars Hydro The plants are just getting huge under this light and just about done. Iam so impressed by the lack of heat in my tent all iam using for ventilation is a 40 8 inch booster fans and passive intake of air all tents windows should be made of screen not plastic. I use one little round Honeywell fan that is pretty dam powerful I point it one way for 24 hours then turn it a quarter pf a turn to face the other plants for 24 hours. So to grow this weed I am using a 480 watt light a 40 watt booster fan and a 20 watt give or take a few watts fan for a total of 540 watts of power to grow a pound and quarter of great weed give or take a few grams. Lecter Autoflower is the plant.
