Indoor Mars Hydro grow journal: WildBill does Hubbabubbasmelloscope in EarthBoxes under MarsHydro SP3000

Girls are doing great! Hopefully my power will remain on! No water due to frozen pipes, despite dripping and flushing line thru the night. Building codes just don't take record temps of -8*F into account. The kind of piping I have is not likely to burst, but I'll probally have to check connections.
I'll prolly have to give the girls snow water sometime before Sat when this shit will start to melt.
Girls look good from their treatment. They all greeted me with a different funk this morning. The last few days it's been hardcore grape from Stomper and Kong. This morning, HBSS has added her funk. The HBSS girls have lived up to their name! I didn't believe what the guide say, but there was a STRONG bubblegum smell with grapey overtone. Fuggin' crazy!
I had to raise the lights from the HBSS coming up. It's good that I LST the HBSS girls. They would have been ridiculously tall by now.
I did have to pull on both mains to bring both down before going to sleep. They would have been too close to the light by the time I woke.
Other than pulling down the main colas, I suspect all girls will be on cruise control for at least a couple of days.
Both Stomper and Kong are right at 20in tall.

looks like the SIP plants have really recovered well! and that sour stomper looks like it will produce some xtra thick nugs for you! nice work

Here's a more natural light pic of the girls just after lights out.
The HBSS looks less sleepy than yesterday at the same time. They were already more sleepy an hour before lights off yesterday. I think this means they are in a more happy condition.

Looking good. I had a smaller pheno. Sour stomper I think that was around 2 foot tall when finished. Wonder if that's the same one. Even though smaller she smelled like a vineyard.

Stomper is 18in early this morning. She's currently at a little over an inch a day and that's mainly under the little California Lightworks. Even though it's a 2014 model, burple and inefficient compared to new, it's a pretty damn good light!

Sounds like SS would be a good 7-pack to buy and run all 7 in my 4x4 tent.

The girls smiling faces as they wake up!

Got a good enough sprout on the barley, so I got it blended up. I think I'll just give it to the HBSS. The other girls are good to go.
I'll prolly pull the two pots to get to the HBSS work them a little. Try to refine the canopy a bit. I'll see if I need to do anything for airflow, but I kinda think it's a little early. I'll know after refining. I'll start documenting the girl sizes too.

Strained and squeezed out the blended malted barley. Fed the squeezed out material and fed it to the worms. Each HBSS got a quart of the barley juice.
Both HBSS got up to 22 inches of the SP3000. I just basically just pulled the stems outwards. They're a bit more organized now. Should have some begin to come up in the center now.

They will be back to the rest of the girls in a couple of days! LOL!

I topped off the rez of each one. Each took a hair short of 1 1/2 gallons. That was a bit of a surprise.
Stomper and Kong got top of the media misted.
Gonna try to let HBSS grow up some more. I think this was the last drastic LST. I think fine-tuning will be the best for them the remainder of the grow. I really do't think I need to defol for any reason at this point. I hope to continue let the girls run for a bit with small tweaks. I hope to get to the point to loosen up the restraints a little and let the plant bring up the whole plant. This will give them more undergrowth clearance between it ans the media. This should limit the need to defol in that area to a good degree to keep the air flow good.

those 2 in the earth boxes are looking like they will be biguns! that has been my experience with them as well ...they grow big plants!

my best yield from a SIP grown plant so far was a double grape x white crack from 2 runs ago it was approaching 5 feet tall and that was with LST...it dominated most of the space in my 4x4 and yielded almost 250 grams and probably had the potential to do even more than that

I have gone from running 4-6 fabric pot plants in my 4x4 to 2 or 3 in SIPS
