Extraction Mass Terpenes with kief?

I just picked up a starter kit from Mass Terpenes. I see a lot of info about using rosin, either pressed or alcohol extract, to make carts. I read their instruction and it seems like you could use kief in the same process and it would mix with all the liquids. Has anyone done this or am I totally wrong?
FWIW: I'm using trim and was going to dry ice extract in bubble bags to get the kief. I've done iso wash extract before, would that work? Any help would be appreciated !!! Thanks

Are you wondering if you could use kief and terpenes to make a cart? No I don’t think that would work since the kief wouldn’t dissolve I don’t think. You could try an iso wash with kief and a fine pore Buchner filter

I don't know the exact answer to this ... but you can make rosin from your keif (i believe @St. Tom has been doing this). Using a heat press (maybe hair straighteners will work - but probably not the same return as a heat press)

Too much plant material left in kief to make carts. An ethanol wash or (blah) an iso wash will help. Winterizing that will remove the majority of waxes and give a product that will work well.

as @Arthur said you would need to change it into concentrates first if you look on youtube turn kief into rosin with hair straighteners that would be a way to do it

Thanks for the help guys. I figured that the keif wouldn’t “melt” with the oil. I guess I can alcohol wash it or maybe take a hair straightener to it as I don’t have a press.

So would it be more effective to dry ice extract the trim to kief first then press into rosin or just alch/iso wash it and then use that to make carts? I have a crap ton of trim to go through lol. I also have some larf that I was going to use but i think for the larf the wash would be better. Just trying not to waste a lot of the oil i got from my order.

That's what I do, dry ice kief, then on to another process.

Thanks @Arthur ! I was thinking that it would be cleaner and easier to work with that way. I will try both alcohol and ISO wash and just some trim and I will also try dry ice kief from the bubble bags and wash it with alch/iso. I know ethanol is the preferred alcohol but what about like everclear or high proof grain alcohol? I'm excited to try to make use of this stuff thats just sitting here lol.

I use everclear 190 when I can get it.
