Mephisto Genetics Mephisto Chem City Blues and Sour Crack Torture Test

Thanks for stopping by Trap! She's had a light oscillating breeze since she was a seedling so I think that has helped firm up her stature for sure. I've also raised the light a bit to try to help space her nodes out a bit now before she hits her stretch period because she's so dense. I'm guessing I still have another week of veg at least, but I wouldn't be upset if it went longer yet.

Cheers!

:Sharing One:

Chem City Blues - Day 32. She's really starting to bush up a bit and I've begun leaf tucking on her. Currently in her res are:
Rhizo - 25ml
Ca/Mg - 6ml
Silica - 4.8ml
Vega - 50ml

She's definitely a heavy feeder for her size and I seemed to have lucked out with her. She's still vegging while the Sour Crack that was in the other bucket kicked into flower a little early due to the travel stress.

Gilly, I'm not worried about another promotion, this one has been a bit hectic and I'm having enough of a time handling all the added hours and responsibilities. Thanks for keeping up on the thread. I look forward to your next update!

She is lookin sweet gbd, looks bout ready to burst come stretch which is probably just round the corner

I'm sure she'll be just what the Spanish Dr ordered to help you on those stressful nights after work

Sour Crack - Day 1

I'll be starting a different thread for the Tyrone Special.

Sour Crack has her tap root in the res! That's a new personal record for quickness. If I'm able to keep her on this pace she should turn out a-ok! I'm definitely more comfortable with using the root plugs straight into the pebbles. I tried a new method of using root plugs planted in rockwool for the Chem City Blues and have had issues with overwatering due to lack of experience and knowledge on how to use them. Anyway, the Sour Crack is on her way!

Nice work man,
I'm intrigued to see the differences in size and speed in dwc in comparison to soil.

keep up the good word amigo.

I'm right there with you, basking in the intrigue of these beautiful new creations you've come up with! I have not done the Chem City Blues justice at all and will probably run her again sooner rather than later just to give her a fair shot at giving all she's got. Thanks for stopping in Mitch! All the best to you and Tim!

Also, as far as size comparison between DWC and soil goes.. From an Auto Blueberry in DWC I managed to get 6 ounces while in dirt I was only able to manage 1.5. Same with a Think Different. 8 oz in DWC and 2 in soil. Obviously most of this comes down to the grower more than the medium, but that's what I've been able to accomplish in both mediums as far as comparisons go.

Cheers.

Hey man,

we have 30 chem city blues in the greenhouse and it is a really lovely strain to grow.

I'll get some photos soon, but the smell and resin is to die for. We've had no purple phenotypes but the buds have a blue hue, and the resin has a grey / silver look.

I really think it could be a monster in dwc,

props for continuing on with the grow mid move, moving is always stressful even without plants to think about.

All the best, mitch

I am going to agree on the yield difference per DWC....I got 12 ounces off of 2 Cream Mandarines from Sweet Seeds.....could only get about 2 in soil........I am very excited to see a "new" auto seedbank....I have some Cream of the Crop autos about 4 weeks into flower but when those are done....Mephisto Genetics HERE I COME!.......

totally subbed to your grow!"kudos""Munch..munch..munch:tiphat:

Mitch, the scent in veg is outstanding and judging from her structure I'd definitely agree that she's got the potential to be huge. My tortured specimen is really a poor example of what she could be as far as yield goes but speaks volumes to the ruggedness of your genetics. Kudos and my apologies for not growing this strain to it's potential on this go round. Thanks for understanding about the move.

phillow- The Cream Mandarine look tasty! Congrats on the killer harvest! Yeah, I don't have the soil skills like some of our fellow AFNers. I look forward to hearing how you enjoy those CreamOTC's, they've got my interest as well.

Thanks for stopping by!

Day 38- Other than the damage to her fan leaves from over watering she's doing quite well. She's just beginning to get her stretch on so the coming days should be rather exciting. In the stem shot you can see just how branchy she is.

Currently in her res are:

Roots Excelurator
Ca/Mg
Silica
Vega
