The high carbonate count in your tap water requires a little more PH down, use nitric acid in veg and phosphoric acid in flower. It should be fine.

So I have not been using nitric acid in veg but trying to find some now so i can do this the proper way..... BUT I can't seem to find the Dutchpro ph grow (nitric acid) that you use on amazon.. dutchprousa and hyrobuilder both have it and are fair on the price <15$ but they want 30-50$ for shipping Do you have any other suggestion for nitric acid or sources or should I just bite the bullet and pay the shipping

I have not completed many an order from Hydrobuilder. They need to lower their shipping costs. Pretty much everything on their website costs 20-30$ shipping.

I thought i ordered Captain Jacks Dead bug. But I must have switched it to Sevin when i was drunk on Sunday lol. Damn Super Bowl smh.
So has anyone ever used Sevin dust? I am finding conflicting information. It says that Sevin will kill Springtails and mites and aphids ect. But after I use it I can't water for 48 hours.

Pretty sure vitamin c for chloramine. And you can put an air stone and evap the chlorine in minutes

I fill up like 20 plastic gallon jugs once a week. So the ro water definitely sits for a few days to stabilize or whatever. Ph drops down to 5.4 after 3 days.

I am ready to jump to Hydroponics. Been looking at some RDWC buckets from PA Hydroponics. They seem better quality than HTG. Need to get these springtails under control first.

Nope I've never used that stuff... I think the wife uses it in her flower gardens outdoors but that's all I know

I tried to do a lil lst on the NightOwl. But I had to stop because the stem is really strong from the OD of silica I gave em early on. They want to break not bend.

Coco is hydroponics just with a twist of need more ca & mg and from what I've read requires the least amount of maintenance out of the the hydro styles

I've used it and it works really well. I've never used it on cannabis, so looked it up, and what I got was that it should be safe for cannabis in veg only.

Mine are in veg/pre flower so I am not sure if I should use it or not. There are no bugs up top just springtails on the top layer of coco. I think I should be safe putting it on top of my Media. But wanted to make sure. But the big thing that has me worried is I can't water it for 48 hours after using it. So I may have to get Captain Jack's after all.
