Could be on to something have just gone back over my Deep Blue C grows, and the branchy bushy pheno i got that i reckon was a Chem City Blues dom one also started out with thin seedling leaves (pic below) in comparison to the stacked fat cola pheno that seems more 24 Carat dom and had a fatter first leaf set, but as you said time will tell and Chem City Blues should be the bigger bushier girl but without seeing a completed White Crack grow cant say for sure.
The plants are looking vibrant and ready to kick off , let's get the place fulla white crack! No changes to feed yet , 10ml AnB in 10litres tap. 24 hours light under 300w blue CFL! Fed daily approx 150/300ml each to keep the rockwool nice and moist!
Day 7 , the last feed of 10ml AnB in 10 litres they have been watered 3 times since with about 300ml til the rockwool was soaking and heavy. I noticed some greening on top of the rockwool any clues? Nuts?? , ready for some development now, roots popping out the bottom so I a might going to put them in 11L finishing pots tomorrow. Let the interesting shit begin
Here is a picture
Frontleft is chem city blues (we think)
The rest white crack!
I watched this grow growpotcheaplys channel on YouTube. He explains that the first 4 inches of root development are the most important , think of it like a central mass anchor. Thus why I left it in rockwool cubes alone so the roots would air prune but not stunt there growth. First time trying it but glad to get it in coco tomorrow, wil also only water the rockwool for another's week after the initial transplant and coco nutrient base soaking. So the surrounding coco slowly dries out and I think airprunes slightly more.
My last two grows that green stuff has grown on the top of my rockwool cubes- i think its some kind of algea like bacteria. But my plants have all been fine so i ignored it.
I'll have to check out that video, not sure why you want to air prune the roots at only 4 inches. Sounds to me like it would slow down growth? Im pribably just too stoned to understand what you mean dude lol
Well it's been made out to me that because it feels the air and not a pot it grows back in on its self hence the term air pruning, and when it hits the bottom it curls back in for a bit to fill the rockwool cubes entire mass instead of the tap root going down and just stopping with a few roots branching off the main root system U get a whole ball inside the rockwool first then plant in coco...
