on indoor af near 6 months old my temperature and fan air movement was not proper, because I developed some moisture and the white puff dust type mold web. issue in buds of plant. I was frustrated and I panicked grabbing baking soda and literally just throwing baking soda all over my mold issue and plant in general. with hopes that it would kill the mold. but now I think it created more issues? not sure. might it affect my harvest or trichrome? im watching waiting for trichrome to throw some amber before I harvest. but im thinking I might have altered things. after 6-7 months I think trichromes should show amber. I harvest too early last time. I want to harvest when amber starts appearing. things don't seem right. thanks for any help. I also have some dark spots on trichrome bulbs,is that a issue or sign? I prefer to use herb for edible use in meals.

No, you didn't create new issues. I assume they are somewhere near harvest already? If so cut it down.

But you have to cut ALL mold out, and remove it from the tent. If it's not just a bud or two you can take the whole plant outside for this. Those spores will fly all over your grow room if left to mature. As it is you will have to fully clean all surfaces to include cables lines, lights, ducts, hangers, walls, etc.

Moldy buds cannot be smoked, they are toxic for your lungs.

Once all evidence of mold is removed, if there were buds left that didn't have mold baking soda is part of how you clean them. I make a bucket of room temp water with baking soda and lemon juice mixed in. Shake the buds around in the bucket vigourously, and then rinse in a plain water bucket. This can get rid of all spores.

Personally I wouldn't smoke it anyway, I would make butter or brownies.
