Hello everybody. After learning about the legalization of being able to grow in my state, I have became very intrigued with starting to grow. Obviously I am new to the growing scene and have done quite of bit of extensive reading from, what it is, down to how to cure my own grow.

This may sound strange to some people, but I am fascinated in the growing part, but I am not interested in using them. With the reason that my current job will not allow me to (occasional random UA's).

I am planning on doing my first grow in a pc grow box. So far I have most of my equipment, but I do not have any seeds yet. I have looked around, and found that the White Dwarf strain looks very promising from what I am looking for (Sweet/Fruity Aroma, Short, and easy for beginners).

Thank you all for reading, and I hope to become part of a wonderful community.

p.s. Quick question: I have found information on storing seeds, but are there any information on how to store the cured product? Preferably for long periods of time if needed (6 months+)? Thanks again!

Welcome Ducky, (Somehow that doesn't sound right !) especially from a Pengun!, but yes, very welcome.
You are already a part of AFN by joining us.
So read the stickies, query / search previous posts for answers and if all else fails then chat away.
Don't over water and do sing to them.

Peace bruv, eP.

Hey ducky, welcome to AFN bro! Glad to have you join the community; if answers are what you're looking for, then answers are what you'll find! Got a great community of knowledgeable people here and we'll help answer any questions you have and follow along with your grow if you do a journal.

Have you taken a look at the New Growers Forum much? The Sticky Threads (the threads at the very top of the list) are great reads; lots of good guides that covers basic that are good to brush up on no matter your skill level. When you feel comfortable, this isn't a bad place to post your first grow journal; lots of great and watchful eyes in here and you'll have pretty fast responses to your questions.

A sub-forum you might find helpful is Micro Growing; there's a lot of PC case grows and other small space grows in there and would be a great place to see what others have done (and their results with their bodacious buds!)

The last one I wanted to point out was the Harvesting/Curing forum; lots of good information in here for drying and curing your buds and you should be able to find some information on long term storage.

There's also the Search function; which is pretty good at finding key words for things you're looking for.

If any of those don't answer you question; you're more than welcome to post your questions here on the forums, or feel free to message a High Team member (we have a High Team logo under our "Awards and Staff Icons,) and we can either help you directly or get some more appropriate attention to your questions!

Glad to have you here bro; looking forward to seeing what comes! :Sharing One:

Thanks epenguin, Son of Hobbes! For the warm welcome.

Thank you guys for pointing me in the right direction for more information. I found a lot of information on the question, after I have posted it. I'll make sure to do an extensive search on it before I ask questions and concerns.

Thanks again guys!

Welcome Ducky :styles rasta:

i see you`re in good hands already :pighug:

Welcome to AFN, Ducky! :tiphat:
Looks like all bases are covered, can't wait 'till you get some beans cracking! :gthumb:
One thing you'll see repeated, over and over (), is the necessity of checking your pH.
If you need a meter, here's another link for ya. https://www.autoflower.org/f156/

Welcome to AFN, Have FUN :)

Ducky Welcome to the family....

Thanks guys for the warm welcome!

Thank you for the heads up Renaissance Redneckabout testing the pH. That was one of the very first items I have bought, which is the pH Control Kit by General Hydroponics.
I have also been informed by the store owner, as well as searching on the internet, to check the pH after I have added everything required to measure the correct pH.

Is this pH kit sufficient for growing? Or should I purchase one of those testers that was listed in the meter purchase guide section?

Hey and Welcome!
I had a lot of trouble reading the colors on the drop test that comes with the GH kit. I found the meter made my life a lot simpler. I think pH may be even more critical for an auto due to their rapid life.
Peace and I happy growing
