New Grower N4W's First ever Hillbilly:) grow attempt HighRise Seeds Auto Fire99 Fem

Damn that's child abuse lol. Did ya ever get your order?

I know right. Just like the girl they were named after, I believe these girls like a little abuse :BottomBeater: As far as my seed order from Herbies, I hadn't been to the post office yet to check the mail. My boys are home for spring break and we stayed up really late watching Netflix. So honestly, I hadn't been awake very long :dunno:

Just found your thread n4w, late but :goodluck:

Hey sanguine, it's honor to have you along bro, but here you will only find an example of what not to do :Haha:

Day 38

Despite so much rain that I haven't been able to fertilize, Brenda and Kay are doing very well. Although I do notice that she's not as green as she has been in the past, especially the new growth. As they have dried out somewhat, I plan to water with FF Big Bloom, fish emulsion and some CalMag as a preventive measure. I'm thinking 2 - 3 ml of each, or does anyone think that is too much. On a side note, as I was getting anxious waiting on my Herbie's order, I dropped 2 Fire 99 auto regulars and they are 3 days old. I thought I had lost one of them, but thanks to Bushdoctor Boomerang it has rebounded nicely. I'm also in the process of sprouting 9 beans from my Herbies order. I started a thread, but I can't figure out how to get it in my sig. I still get that annoying message about too may characters/lines or whatever .. I'm sure some of you know what I'm talking about. Until next time ... Peace all!!!

Day 44

Well it's rained nearly everyday for the last couple weeks, (except for last Sat & Sun), and the girls haven't drowned yet. I did put them in my storage building for a couple days this week so they could dry out. I've foliar fed them today with FF Big Bloom and fish emulsion, with a very light watering of the same. Kay still is the tallest at 22 inches, (with 6 potential bud sites), and Brenda is 18 inches tall with twice as many tops as her sister. Hmmm, may be time for another fim attempt for Brenda. The girls are also smelling quite dank, with what my 11 year old described as smelly arm pits and there are also skunk undertones, which I just love. I'm just glad my son hasn't associated the smell with the plants as they have been moved outside now for a couple weeks now. I've also got a decent' little buzz smoking a few plucked leaves, but as I was saying on another thread ... that says more of my low tolerance right now rather than potential potency. However, I do have HIGH hopes for the future. Right now the plan is to start the last 2 Fire 99 photos fems I have and transplant all 4 in another location that's pretty isolated around the last week in May. I have a great spot in mind that I have already been preparing gorilla styled holes with coco and a organic soil that I picked up this past winter at Lowes. I got their last 2 bags for a buck a piece because one bag had a hole and the Lowes guy cut me a break and opened the other, lol. Anyways, I'll be updating my auto grow this weekend too, so hope to see you there, (I just can't get the link in my siggy). Peace all and a early Happy 420 to ya!!!

Looking good need4 ! I feel your pain with the rain brother... Wow I have learned so much about auto's with my first grow and now realise they are different beasts than photo's for sure. I will be using smaller pots next time so I can move them undercover if sustained wet weather persists.

I hear ya VD ... I got my entire auto crop in a 32 X 32 inch shower with 2 42W bulbs and 4 27W bulbs. I know that's not enough light for 11 plants, (9 in 3 gallons and 2 in 1/2 gallons). It's suppose to rain again in the morning, and after that I'm hope they all get their 1st taste of real sunshine this weekend ... Peace!

At least you have some light on them, I only have one light and it's 150 million Km's away and I can't control it LOL. I got 3-4 days rain forecast to start tomorrow and I got 4 sick auto's at week 11. Am thinkin of chopping them this arvo as I don't think they can cope with more water with all the setbacks they've had. I really don't know what to do.
