In my experience, LED's do not produce any noticeable heat build up and are very economical on your electricity bill. These are factors which may help you make your mind up.

Haha don't worry about it. You could say I'm a terrible grower and I should never grow again and it won't bother me lol. Main couple reasons I'm using sensi grow is due to the fact of the ph perfect system in it but will also be checking the ph to be safe. Last thing I'm on my deciding factor. Sorry for all the questions I usually research A LOT before asking., but anyway if I get a 600w hps/ mh what will the expected yield be for let's say DPs Think Different, opposed to a 300w led if that makes sense.

if its the biggest yield youre after i would def go for the 600 hps... i`ve tried both..and my tougts...MY TOUGHTS! is that leds are more suited for smaller grows.. like said in here...little to less heat..and the energy saving of using it.. but in a big room where temp is not a issue..i would go for the hps.. (or wth..go for both ;D lol ^^ )

my first grow here i used a 600 w hps on 2 Sweet tooth auto from barneys farm..they yielded over 200 G dried each...i dont think the led would be able to do that.. anyways, just my "My 2 cents"

i bet someone with more xp on this field would be able to give you a much better answer..head on over to the led section and see if ou mayybe find anything of interest in there.. let us know if you need any help getting around.

If heat is not a problem for you go for the 600 hps. As rebelroy says these lamps run hot and maybe require some cooling.

I will be purchasing the 600w hps then will be purchasing a NEW 300W 10band Full Spectrum LED Grow light after my first paycheck (currently looking for job) therefore i will have the best of both worlds for the time being. Money is definitely an issue for me as im in High School still with no job

SO I FINALLY DECIDED!! im so indecisive but the decision is final cuz i just ordered it "pher Wiggle" I am going all out with a Apollo H. 1000w HPS/MH with 1000 watt ballast...Digital system. Im pretty happy with this purchase for my first autoflower grow. I have bought everything ive needed just waiting for the transaction to go through. Excited!!

Congrats! Have you thought about how you will keep that light cool? Got fans? Scrubber? You will have a nice yield for sure under her!

I've found 6 fans which is definitely more then needed and my fathers a electrician and carpenter and anything else that requires hand work lol he will be doing all the setting up and cooling

made another recent purchase. i keep adding on to make my first grow the best possible.. Bought some AD Big Bud and b-52. Just waiting from amazon and ebay to get here and then ill be moving the thread to New Growers Forum or Indoor Growing and keep everyone updated with pics!
