hello everybody im new to autos and im setting up a naughty corner in my house i love toking and joking :drool: i have never grown before so thought i would start the easiest possible way i can mow the lawn but have i got green fingers............. i really dont know any help advice would be more than welcome great to meet everyone and its nice to know the smokers world is geetting bigger and better

hey suggz this is what set up im looking at ;
1m x 1m x 2m diamond mylar lined grow tent
600w hps cooltube
exhaust system 400sq m/h with thermostat and speed controler coupled with a temperature dongle for automatic temp control
inline carbon filter
intake fan 185 sq m/h x 2 (one directly mounted on cooltube )
light 600w hps, 90.000 lumens /2250k
crocodile clip fan for air flow

what do you think any help would be really great i have done a little reserch but im sure i can learn loads from everyone here be great to have some feedback suggz and thanks to everyone for the info i really enjoyed reading fd s guide to hefty s
and just to let you know i have bought nothing yet so i can still change my setup if recommended

Your set up is sounds great. 600W dual spectrum HPS or simple HPS? Autos love dual spectrum from start to finish.
You can eazy grow 4 beast in that box.
What kind of nutes you will useing?
What kind of seeds?

Your set up sounds great. No problems there.i would definitely go with the dual spectrum bulb as botlowsky said. I have a 250w one for a smaller tent, it works great.

thanks for taking interest to start with ill keep it simple hps i will try dual spectrum but are they really worth it looking at their average life span dual spectrum being around 4000h life span against the simple hps around 10000h life span do you get the bang for you buck ? have you or anyone else dabbled with the double spectrum and compared i would love to have your thoughts on this :Sharing One:

nutes well to start with im really going to keep it simple just good quality soil i really just want to experiment a little and start from the basics and as im a newbie i dont want to do things wrong :wormy: i will venture into nutes with there being so many different combinations to try and so many things to learn !!! as my first nutritents ill probally start with fish emulsions/hdrolyzed fish liquids which have a reasonably light N P K but thats another kettle of fish lol

seeds im thinking RQS royal bluematic and RQS amnesia haze for my first grow but im in to everything and anything do you have any recommendations on what to try and what not to try ?

I dont know why are you think the lifespan is shorter. I use this light with 24000h lifespan.

Autos love nutes. In my first grow I use just a basic autoflowering supermix, but after when I grow the same strain with more nutes (PK13-14, booster, enzymes) it raise my yield more than double.
I have not experience with RQS, but its a fameos seedbank.
I usually use Dutch Passion, Greenhouse seeds, or sweet seeds.
