Update:

Like I was mentioning, it's been crazy hot. My a/c has been working overtime. The plants are drinking a bit more often. The girls outside are really happy and I'm excited to see what they will do for me.

I'm going to start one heisenhound and one Skyrone Stomper and plant directly into the garden in the next few days. That should be fun.:growing:

Roxxy (Artisanal- Sour Stomper) day 59 She is getting really close to finishing. She is extremely happy be outside instead of stuck in the tent. I am going to do one of these outside for sure. Not sure if I want to go in the ground or a big container. I have plenty of room for either. Her smell is just DIVINE!!! A strong fruity scent, nothing distinguishable just pure dank fruits. I want to chop her now but she isn't ready and I can wait. She got 6 cups of well water earlier which made her stink extra strong all day. Mouthwatering.

3 Bears OG x Walter White day 49 She got 4 cups of well water yesterday. Nice strong funk from her. 3 Bears is coming through in that department but there is a sour fruit smell at the end reminiscent of Skylar White. Trichomes are coming on nicely.

Super Freak (supernatural OG) day 24 She is happy to be hanging with the big girls and is stretching out nicely. I'm pretty happy with this girl. She got 4 cups of well water yesterday. No smell today.

24cMP (Illum #8) day 23 She is really happy to be outside and in the ground. She has almost doubled her height since the transplant. She got 7 cups of well water earlier. I wish I would have transplanted her a few days sooner but she has plenty of time to grow. This crazy heat doesn't seem to phase her. These pics were taken when it was 93 outside.

Cavity Express (Illum #7) day 8 Today was day 2 outside and I'm going say she is happy! She is praying for that sun even if it was crazy hot. I'm excited too see what she does getting the sun 95% of her life. Just some LED to get her started.

Enjoy guys. Thanks for all the likes or even taking the time to check the thread.

Willamette Valley.

Thought so. It's been hotter than hell, hasn't it? I've got a couple of little plants finishing up inside with only days to go, but it's getting so damned hot in my grow that I'm sweating it.

NoRobo, your outside plants look like they aren't bothered one bit by the heat. That's good to know.

Yeah buddy, Eugene area @Nuggz. I'm glad it didn't reach the temps they were talking about. Portland hit 100 yesterday but they have lots of buildings and asphalt to absorb and release heat.

I have been tempted to bring everyone outside and just shut the tent down for now. Might just do that after these finish and just play outside for summer.

So far, nope. Everyone seems to be thriving. The big photo girls are headed to the 7 foot mark. 24cMP is jumping up and cavity express was reaching for the sun all day.

Got to love Oregon!!

I live just south of Portland so I'm in the 100 degrees area. My heat pump gave out hence no AC and it's gonna cost a small fortune to fix it.

Yeah, I love Oregon too but....I gotta say if it's 100 degrees here in the first of June, then you just know that July and August are going to be hotter than hell. Since you are planting directly in the ground, your plants are making it. But if you were growing outside in containers, you'd probably be having to water 2-3 times daily. I had cukes and tomatoes outside in containers last year and they were showing bad heat stress even with water 3 times a day.

It is going to be another hot summer for sure.

Well, we will see how Cavity Express does. She is in a black fabric pot. I might see if I can shade her soil so she doesn't cook her roots. Her soil temp wasn't bad the last few days. I also rotate her every few hours so one side doesn't get too hot.

The garden is extremely active. I don't have to water those girls as often as you would think. It has been a organic garden since the 70's. A few years before I got here it was grass. Now everything thrives and the eco system is phenomenal.

My friend swears my soil changes the genetics of plants. Lol. I think it just brings out the full potential.:d5:

Oh, Roxxy (sour stomper) hadn't been watered for a week! Her soil is holding water like crazy. The last five days she has been outside in this heat with her black fabric pot. I think she could have went another day or two but I gave her more just to help flush her. Her fungal count must be up.

I'm in Salem and my two outside girls are in 1gal containers, one in solid black plastic & the other in a Ruth's tree farm thin fabric pot. I water them close to sundown and check in on them throughout the day. They have been praying with fierce devotion to the sun god & happy with the heat, damn weirdos LOL.
