Week 1:

Received my Optic Foliar package yesterday. The test plants will be two of the four, Dinafem Fruit that are also part of a test grow! I chose the second largest and the youngest plant. The youngest plant was started about 5 day after the other three as one of the orginal 4 didn't survive.

The 4 plants are in 3.9 auto pots. The medium is coco coir and the nutrient solution will be Grow More Sea Grow, a seaweed based nutrient, with mineral micro nutrients added. The plant were watered this morning with the solution at 380ppms PH is 6.23

The two plants were sprayed on top only as per directions.

Update: Week 2

Dinafen Fruit seedlings are looking very healthy and loving the light. One never made it so I planted the last seed, and she just sprouted in the last couple hours. I have the light running at 1000ma now and will leave it till they get big enough to take more efficiently. I water with RO water plus 20% tap water and 90-120ppm Mendocino Cal Mag from Grow More. I've tried many, this is the most stable in RO water I've found. It is a bit more concetrated than most also, a bottle last longer than any other I've used, and I make a lot of water.

As soon as the leaves are as wide as the pot, I'll transplant to the auto pots.

Week 3, Day 5
plants are loving my light! The Ducksfoot in particular is looking awesome! I'm seeing better growth with 1/3 the watts I was using in this tent!

Even the damaged plant has taken off after only a 4 day pause to recover! She's grow over an inch in the last 24 hours. I transplanted the seedling last night and she too has grown already!

The 2 largest plants are on the res now. Nutrient solution is 400 ppms of Grow More Sea Grow and 90 ppms of cal/mag for a total 490 ppms. I'll be keeping the res between 450 -550 ppms thru the grow.

Update:
Week 4, day 2

Everything is rolling along smoothly! All plants show phenomenal growth! The real surpize here though, isn't the Optic Foliar treated plants, its the one I lost 1/2 the rootball on transplant. She has grown alot! I seriously doubt, she'll ever catch up to the others, but she's going for a damn fine finish I'd say! She's F2, front right.

The optic Foliar plants have not shows any particular advances yet, growth is very good on them, but so it is for the control plants. Color so far is the same across all plants, a medium green F4, right rear, is still the largest plant in the group.

As of today, all plant are now on the reservior. The res was topped with a solutiom of: 100 ppms of cal/mag and 375 ppms of Sea Grow 16-16-16. I'll take a closer look at the ladies tomorrow for signs of female parts.

I must say, these are very pampered looking ladies.......lol!

And Ducky just gets more beautiful! I need to clone her but hate too..........lol!

Update:
Week 4, Day 4

Upped my nutrient solution to 635 ppms. Just 2 days and you can see the darker color beginning. All plants looking very healthy! And the surprise plant is once again, the plant I broke the rootball on! F1, to her left, is now only slightly larger than this plant, F2.

The plant being treated with Optic Foliar Overgrow are doing quite well also. I'm having some impressive growth on the plant that was started later as a replacement Very good size for her age! Maybe the Overgrow? Hard to say just yet.

Going to mix my nutes 75/25 grow and bloom as F4, the largest plant is in flower. I want to youngest plant to get more N for at least another week, then I'll go to full bloom nutes.

picture color is inconsistent because light from my veg cab was leaking in and screwing up my pics.

Update:
week 5, Day one

Plants were sprayed this morning. I noticed faint, blueish coloring on the edges of some leaves on F1, you can just barely see it in the photo. Not sure what that is.
All plants look better with the higher ppm solution. I am running 100 ppm cal/mag, 530 ppm Hawaiian Bud for a 630 ppm solution. There was still maybe 2 gallons of grow solution in there so the transition is a blend as I added 2.5 gallons of the bloom.
