hey this is my first time growing and could use a little help to see if i am doing it right :P I am growing Auto AK-47 from Royal Queen Seeds. for my set up i have a 400w MH/HPS lamp right now using the MH at 300w. i have an air cooled hood and a 4in inline fan and carbon filter that vents to the attic. I am using pro mix for the soil but didnt have enough to fill all 4 containers so one is 60:40 triple mix to perlite. I just resently transplanted them from red beer cups to their final resting place in 3gl containers. they are around 10 days old now. after the transplant i noticed the leafs starting to droop. is this normal? i uploaded some pictures so you guys can see. Any help/advice on my set up/drooping situation would be awesome. Once again thanks! IMG_1557.jpgIMG_1559.jpgIMG_1589.jpgIMG_1590.jpgIMG_1591.jpgIMG_1592.jpgIMG_1593.jpg

Looking nice! Leaving a karma clou

I havent started giving them any nutes yet but the lady at the hydro shop said once they have 3 to 4 sets of leafs you can start to use nutes. she gave me a little bit of a straight 20-20-20 and said to use it at 1/4 strength at first then move it up. I have heard that you are not sopost to use nutes at all durring the veg phase. anyone have any opinions???

If you was growing in a good nutrient rich soil, you wouldn't need any nutes for the first month or so. Promix is a soilless grow media, it has a starter charge of nutes thou, but usually only last for the first couple weeks. That's when I start feeding at 1/4 strength. She gave you good advice.

What about the triple mix and perlite. Since that contains soil should I be using the nutes on that plant too?

I must have missed that part, I'm not familiar with that soil, but since you mixed 40% perlite it should be okay with a 1/4 strength feed. But,if it don't look pale and growing good you can wait a bit longer on that one.
