Just checking you've not put them in plastic bags after harvesting (as i saw it was your first harvest), becuase we don't want your buds to get mouldy!

Brown paper bags yep yep. Any input on these seed pods? Have I gotten hermies? Because they did surely produce juicy buds still.. can u smoke em pods?
If they're empty - and on the stem at the bottom of the bud site - chances are its a swolen calyx.
If you find a couple of little seeds, then it may have hermed a little due to stress - I've done that.
Would a smoke a seed? Not if i can help it lol

When you purchased your BB beans, did you purchase older stock or newer 2014 stock? My seedbank (bonzaseeds) stocks the newest 2014 stock for auto BB (dutch passion) and i've grown it twice this year. One of the auto BBs has been through extreme stress (surprised it didn't drop dead!) and it still made it and gave me an oz!
Growing the auto BB again this year. have grown older stock of auto BB (older than the 2014 stock) and had a heap of issues.
Also buddy, you should snap off one of the seed-pod looking things and check inside if there's a seed; if there isn't a seed, it's just a swollen calyx full of T H & C!

As far as I could see it was only present at the base of the node branches... not in the actual cola, and when i took one apart it seemed to have some brown stuff in there. Looked at the possability of it beeing a calyx but didnt really loook the part, hard to tell without pics i know.

That what u describe really sounds like Swolle Calyxes on the Stems. I have that on my Sativas atm even they only at Day 9 12/12 i saw some swollen Calyxes at the 2 bottom Branches. Ill snap a Pic of it later so u can Compare and we have a direction to look at
