Got this freebie seedsman grapefruit punch auto really had no info about strain yield size etc. So im 7 weeks in figure inhave a good 4-5 left . Have taken ppm to 2200 water starts ar 750. Started "monster bloom" like product, local product. Been using nutri+ 2 part grow then nutri+ 2 part bloom, had sample of flouralicious. No res change except changed half of 18 gallon tub at week 6. Running dwc set up using powerhead with venturi instead of bubble stone. No real problems yet niticed some dark green waxy leaves at top of main cola water ph 5.7 -6 ppms 2200 plant seems dialed in as ppms stay same adding back ph 5.7 and same ppm water. Does anyone have any info on yield final size taste strain anything? Saw 1 other post about same strain but has log was abandoned at finish with no report on smoke or taste.

So is there noone that may have gotten this freebie?

Seedsman Grapefruit punch

A delightful variety, she is a sativa dominant auto flower that has rapid growth and can display hints of colour.

She produces a fat main cola, and secondary budsets that stretch up to canopy level.

Buds are lathered in sticky resin that will extend right down the petioles.

She is very flavoursome, and fruity, with undertones of grapefruit.

Started with ample room she can reach 4 foot tall with long branches, Despite the height she can also be very productive in a tightly packed Sea-of-green arrangement with some pruning, a great candidate for SCROG.

A versatile tool in any growers garden

That's as much as I can find on this strain and it is directly from seedsman site.

These seeds are part of their freebies promotion an I guess we will see more of these grown out in the near future from people who buy from seedsman.

Here is a grow on AFN -

Thanks have tried the search and even sent some messages as well as the seedsmsn site. Thanksnfor the responses guess i will keep posting updates incase anyone else runs across this strain, very nice plants to grow look promising yield wish i could order the seeds, its yhe largest auto ive grown yet.

The offer seedsman are running is "2 grapefruit punch autos" when you spend £20 .
The only solution I can think of is "selfing" one plant (ie, growing the plant until it is forced in to producing male flowers in a last ditch attempt to further it genes for another generation) and storing the pollen and fertilizing the other plant with the pollen you have collected.
Which will then produce more fem seeds. Though you ought to hit someone up in the breeding part of the forum as I am no expert in this area.

I now have the same question, it looks like it has been about a month or so. How did things turn out? Should be close to harvest and I would like to see how everything turned out as I too am the proud owner of 2 of these freebie seeds.

I am a breeder and I am very interested in the complex smell of grapefruit as a phenotype to try and isolate. I am keeping my fingers crossed I get some suuuper stinky plants because I am going to hermie a branch and get a seed set from the other plant.

sorryI had forgotten about this thread and got caught up in life he plant had to be pulled down approximately 3 weeks ahead of time due to severe root rot issues that occurred while I was out of town I also had used a sugar additive by recommendation and free product from the hydro shop which turned out to be a complete bad idea and gave me the severe case of phone mean rotten stinky water and root rot lost two other giant haze plants that I had going d2 hases turned completely blonde yellow from bottom to top within a couple days of sucrose additive almost lost a grapefruit but I had a friend keep her alive till I got home to harvest went ahead and did the harvest is did not think she would pull through don't know if it was the strain or my drying and curing but unless the weed is under your nose and crumble in your fingers the smell is of grass like hay but very strong citrus grapefruits smell when crumbled under the news smoke is unbelievably smooth and definitely Headey just does not have that skunk funk again plant had to be pulled early was able to get 4 ounces dried off of her and this is coming from an auto
