Please guys, I need some help.

Day 11, No change in conditions. 2nd set of leaves getting bigger, no growth in height.

Day 12, did a res change with 10ml of Voodoo Juice and 7ml of Calmag and 5ml of Grow A and 5ml of Grow B. Water level touching the bottom of the net pot.

PPM 420 - a lucky number.

I need some no BS advice guys. Do I keep up the faith or pull the plug and start over? I didn't want to waste a DP bean on my first DWC grow. What corrective measures should I take to get roots down into the rez?

Here's what she looks like now on Day 12. Is my light too strong? Too low? Too high?




Should I:

1. Turn off the top drip and fill the rez up 1 inch past the bottom of the net pot?
2. Lower the water level to an inch below the bottom of the net pot?
3. Pull up the plant and put her in a grodan/rockwool cube and replant? Then I can see how long her taproot is
4. Should I wait another couple weeks and pop a new bean?

This is starting to remind me of my 2 Auto Green Poisons that failed to launch in coco/perlite hydro setup that I did alongside my 60 day wonder which was my first successful grow.

Here is a closer look at my setup.

Top air pump is 2lpm turned down to minimum airflow driving the top drip so there is literally a few drops a second dripping on the medium.

Bottom pump is 4.5lpm running an air ring and ceramic ball airstone on full blast. This will be replaced soon with a 20lpm pump. If I'm using 2 of the outlets then I should be getting 10lpm from both airstones.

You can see the ph and res temp on the little gauge well as the ambient room temp and rh. The LED is 3 ft from the top of the bucket.

All the research I've done on DWC says this is the optimum setup. The only difference was I plant directly in the medium instead of using rockwool. The rwason behind this decision was so the rockwook wasn't continuously saturated with water from the drip ring. I put the seedling at almost the very top of the net put and medium so the tap root has almost the full length of the netpot to get down.

I"ll pop another bean in a few weeks. Need to setup a water level tube on both buckets. I also just got another 5 gallon 10 inch netpot bucket to use. Just got the V20 in and check out the rolling boil on this baby. I've turned off the dripper coz I know this air saturated boiling water has to got to be hitting root zone.

The question is, which bean to pop? Super Skunk or another AM? I don't want to waste a TD on a bum germination.

If you are going to start another bean then you might as well pull this one and see what the tap root is doing. I transplanted 12 seeds from plugs straight into hydroton rocks and 3 of them I must of damaged as they took over 10 days before the roots hit the water. One of the 3 is extremely stunted. As suggested I think I will use root riot cubes on the next round. Good luck.
