Which ones in my seedbank are the most hardy and biggest yielders but also do best in dwc? I'm not sure I want to waste another DP bean, although I have 4 of each strain...now 3 AM's. I'm needing an indica, high cbd strain for medicinal use. What's the yield and ease of growing for a noob like myself?

Guide me, oh DWC Jedi Masters! I'm going to pull the plug on that plant today and see what's going on in there.

All I have are these "Grodan" cubes, which I'm assuming is rockwool....

Studying that thread now D-Dub. I probably need to downgrade pumps to 10lpm, yea? Or will that V20 drive 2x 3 gallon buckets? FECK! I HATE LOSING A BEANSHOOT!

Ok, I'm doing my homework and have some questions for the professors.

Questions from SB's StarRyder germination guide:

1. "ive put 4 seeds into soak using plain tap water and added 1ml of rhizotonic, ill wait untill the seeds sink before moving on to the next stage" How much tap water to 1ml of cannazym or voodoo juice?

2. "plant the seeds knot side up into the rockwool" I'm assuming tap root side down the hole.

3. "i tare a piece off the corner of the cubes to cover the seeds and place back inside an airtight container and place them in my grow room underneath the lights and wait for them to surface."

Do I want a transparent lid or a solid one that blocks light? This goes against other germination methods which is to place in warm darkness. I'm not going to get any humidity

What temps do I need to maintain in my grow tent, I want to keep it warm yea? It'll get down to 10c or below at night here. Do I want 24/7 light or 18/6 like it's vegging? I'm running LED's emitting no heat so room temp and tent temp stay the same.

4. next job is to get your water levels sorted out from the start, use an empty net basket and fill the water about 1" above the bottom of the net pot, ill always keep my water level above the basket and never below, i know loads of growers like to have a gap of about 1" under the net pot which is entirley their choice but i like to encourage just feeder roots to be in the res and not corded ones, feeder roots are what help achieve big yields.

Ok, got it 1 inch above net pot and fill with my medium which is growstones. Do I want my air pumping away while I pop the rockwool down and should the bottom of the rockwool be getting wet with bubbles or should it be above the water action?



Then do I want to cover the Rockwool cube as it grows taller and fill the netpot to the top around the growing stem?

Sorry for the bonehead questions. I"m going to sort this out and buy a bag of hydroton and skip the growstones!

awwww poor lil ting !!! ...dude its those rocks .there to big & jagged & just wrong .That root got stuck trying to navigate round mount feckin Everest mate.

you need clay pebbles ...or use root riots / rockwool ,but select nice small & smooth rocks to fill the base 1st ...then the cube ... then more nice shape rocks & leave the boulders for building a wall in the garden or something ! ....I joke but you get the point Smeggy lol
