Thanks for the heads up. I put quite a few holes through the bottom inch or so. Wrapped them all up in black tape. I will eventually get around to buying actual pots one day, but until then I just find things around the house and repurpose and reuse. I will hopefully get around to putting a journal together this weekend. I at about a week in right now, had a few fumbles getting this grow together, but so far so good.

pop bottles work, when i started its what i used, i really liked some silver 1L energy drink bottles i would get occasionally, would chop them down to about 700-800ml and a soldering iron made quick work of making holes on the bottom, but definitely put up a journal

i use to use smaller bottles as well and they worked good, if interested check out some old grow journals on a couple other forums by a member named drbudgreengenes, its worth the read, i jumped into the micro style at the time, while i originally started bigger.

Heres a pic of some bud from one of the paper bags. Buds will all go in the jar in a day or two.

After drying for 5 days in paper bags in the growbox with around 50% rh i put all the buds into the jar.
Was 20-23g which is the same as my first grow.
Rh in the jar is reading 50% after about one hour.
I should have jard the bud a day ago maybe.
Or maybe i just need to wait longer for a reading.
I have boveda 62s if i need to add them now.


I remember my NL was wetter when i started curing i had to burp alot because rh was high.
Last time i had to wait until i got rh down to 65% to add boveda 62 and it took almost a week i think.

So far i already know the blue mystic seems stronger than the NL. It has more sativa in it for sure.
Has a fruity candy blueberry like smell or something. Not a strong one bud if u squeeze a bud u smell it.
No blueberry taste yet that i can tell,
will see how the cure goes.


Edit: i already added a boveda 62 into the jar.
Hopefully it saves it.
Pretty sure i dried too much and too fast.
Probably could have jard buds after only 3 days instead of 5 days in paper bags. Should have payed more attention because the buds are not as dense and big as the NL from my first grow. Had more smaller buds this time.

Still good bud and learning experience though.
I think i will end up liking the bluemystic more than the NL.

After a 3 week cure. And drying too fast to start i think.

Im smoking the lower quality, small and less dense buds first so i have not got to the good ones yet so keep that in mind.

Taste-(source vapes ghost) full bodied nice clean smoke but not really any blueberry taste. Thats ok i didnt really expect it.

Smell- not much but a nice light blueberry candy type of smell when you break up buds

Gets me nice and stoned and helps me sleep.

The NL has a 100 day cure(few grams left) now and i still like the blue mystic more, but both are good strains that help me sleep and were low odor growing.

Will update with pics of blue mystic buds later.

What's up man?? I cut my Nirvana Blue Mystics down about a month and a half or so ago, maybe a little more, and the smell DEFINITELY takes a couple weeks to come out.. I sold a friend a few grams and tossed it in a baggie, as I feel I'm almost immune to the smell of the bud in the jars; it rarely smells like anything to me, UNTIL I pull it out of the jar and leave it out for a little bit..

As for the flavors I'm getting now after a bit of a cure, I definitely get some hints of blueberry, which makes me happy.. Definitely a great strain that I WILL grow again!! I grew 2 under HPS/COB LED w/ organics and got about 6oz total, which was good for organics!!
