buds are starting to put on weight but leaves looking worse.any ideas:shrug:

shes dying my man!...really, shea at the ens of her life cycle...you've probably been feeding her bloom nutes for 6-8 weeks now and she has a N def...totally natural...actually they are lookin good...one thing that would help is if at week 4-5 you start folair spray of cal/mg, she would pretty her slef up some what...:smokeit::peace:

I would get a "Nopest strip" or 2 and hang it in the cab for a week or 2.
Be sure to shut off the exhaust fans so it can kill better.

Always works for me.
Even kills the eggs!
I get em every yr in my shed.....

Looks like cal/mag and P deficiencies caused by nutrient lockout from the pH being off. If you're feeding at 7.5 and getting run off of 5.3 your actual soil pH is much lower, possibly in the 4s. If so, it will be very hard to raise it to a good level before this grow is completed. You might try a foliar spray of some mild bloom nutes with a little cal/mag added. As you can see in this chart, even at a pH of 5 all the primary nutrients, N, P, K, Cal and Mag. are locked out and unavailable to the plant.

Thanks all for the input i have looked carefully at the underside of the leaves and dont see any sight of any kind of pest i also think it is lockout dont know how i got in this mess NEWBIE I guess. will try and fix with foliar spray and hope for the best. Will the buds continue to put on weight or is everything locked up now ? Should i continue to water with bloom nutes and cal/mag i figured a couple of weeks left before they finished out.:help::cool:
was late getting ph meter and figureing out how to work it .:o this is definatly a learning process and am thankful for all the help i have gotten here at AFN . hope to save these laddies ,they smell good even if they dont look so great.

once issues are under control i would up the dose of cal/mag at thoose feeding levels

Since you're in a lockout situation and the roots are unable to uptake the nutes, there's little point in giving more. With a foliar spray the root system is bypassed and the nutes are absorbed directly through the leaves. You should still some some bud growth as the plant feeds off the energy stored in the fan leaves. If you do the foliar feed I'd also suggest you spray your buds with plain water before harvest to wash off any residue.

I'm not familiar with the soil you use but if it doesn't contain any dolomite lime you will need to add it yourself. It will help to buffer your pH and keep it from dropping so low.

Looks like potassium deficiency to me. My one-month old is doing the same thing, so it's not age IMO.
