New Grower THC and CBD percentages...

OP, the "mate" who persuaded me to try to grow my own hasn't spoken to me for over 8 months all because I grew autos under LEDs!

Another mate was convinced I went and bought 5oz of NL because it's "impossible" to get nearly 10oz from 2 autos in my size tent but has since backed down a bit saying you always get a good first grow because the equipment is new!

Both are HPS photo growers averaging 4oz per plant over 14 weeks.

I joined RIU and was amazed at the number of HPS growers who, for no apparent reason, jump randomly into led or auto threads to tell people how shit they are at growing, blah blah blah, etc. Even the semi polite posts just criticized instead of being useful ffs. There was even the odd wanker tried to give bad advice nicely to new guys just to screw their grow.

Bit weird how so many seem to passionately hate things that are different to what they do but you could say the same about most things in life

Joined here expecting similar trolling but it's been a complete breath of fresh air to have seen nothing but great advice and encouragement to anyone whatever medium/seeds they choose, long may it continue!

You know I got the feeling that it was only the fact that I'm a hard bastard that stopped him having a pop at me, he was foaming at the mouth ranting when he saw I'd dumped HPS for LED.

Total Humbug... ill grow both Photos and Autos and some of the Hardest Stuff i had were Autos.

I'm an old photo grower - and I've grown 'em all if they were pre-00s. This place got me on autos and LED and I don't see anything in it: heaps of light and strong photo strain vs a good auto like many DP strains and the difference ain't much. As for potency, my TD sat me on my ass like old NL so if they ain't strong enough for ya yet, they soon will be.

Everyone I know grows photo's. They look at me like I'm an Alien when I talk about growin auto's. Most a admit they freaked out by auto's. "What do you mean you can't clone um" or " so you don't change the light cycle".

As for yield. ....the right strains of auto's can out produce photo's. And people have no idea what their talkin about. When it comes to autos.
Auto flowers are here to stay! I see no major advantages for photo plants......unless outside.Some day iI'll takle that and turn it upside down too.
