Thanks Muddy, I have been trying to keep them cooler so letting the temp rise a bit will be easyI had to struggle today to hold them down to 79 with the weather starting to warm up a bit. And no, no co2 as of yet. Trying to make sure I have a decent handle on the basics before I get any more creative than I have. I actually looked at it but to either build or buy the controller was just more than I wanted to bite off. Funny thing is I have the large industrial gas cylinders for it already.
The standard information out there that says 76-78 max is based on HPS lighting. With the heat they give out they raise the leaf temperature too high if temps are higher. With LEDs the leaf temps are cooler, so you can run higher room temps. co2 is absorbed best around 84 - 85 with LEDs. I run a propane burner and do see a difference with co2. I wouldn't say it's the 30% + that some claim but more than enough to pay for the cost of the propane.
