New Grower Thermometer position

Tried searching but never seem to have much luck, basically wondering where you all have your thermometers /probes in your space?
Reason I ask is whilst messing around in my cabinet yesterday I took the probe off the top of the pots and left it on the floor, woke up this morning and thought my heating had packed up as it was down to 17c (62f) Now moved it back resting on the top of the pots and back to 23c (73f) (lights off) guessing the higher it is the warmer the reading

I have both mine bro for my hydro and my fan, just where the canopy top is and move it accordingly.

Interesting Kip (do remember commenting on your probes) when my lights are back on at 1pm think I'll have a play, maybe warmer than what I think in there

The best place is near the top of the plant but preferably shaded from the direct rays of the lights so it isn't picking up the radient heat from the light whitch will always show temps higher than actual air temps.

Cheers Namvet, thats probably going to be a problem getting it out of the light, maybe mount it on the side of my cabinet at plant height

Yes it is hard to find a place out of the radient waves from the light.I put mine at top of the pot shaded from the light an figure this is close enough. The deeper the probe the better she likes it.
