Two nights ago left town and just got back to a very scary sight. Plant almost completely dried out. Limps and leaves are still soft (not dried up yet) but she looks dead.

Guys, what's the damage? Is this salvageable? Just have her water, but what should I expect?

This is embarrassing, maybe it will serve future growers on how to definitely not do this.

Thanks
Karl

An hour later and she is showing great improvement. I think I will have some dead foliage at the bottom.

OH-MY, I hope those girl's make it, I thought I had some bad pic's. You poor baby, bet is was a very bad night. Good luck------:jointman:

Plants are looking good. Seemed like they gave it a good stretch in the last 12 hrs. 12 hrs after watering I think they had restored whatever is left of them. Most of the lower leaves got sucked dry, keeping the future nugz growth alive.

Hopefully this won't happen again. I will be out of town at months end and need to put a setup in place for automatic watering...

Fyi. I had added 3ml calmag and 4ml each of advanced nutrients Grow a+b to 1 gal of water. The plants seemed to not have any shock from that.... Just saying.

As another follow up, plants are doing good. I'm wondering whether the fan leave, especially the lower ones, saved my ass here. Many of those leaves shriveled up or show signs of damage now but the higher growth is fine. Looks to me the plant depleted those leaves/resources to survive.

I had just switched to 12/12 and the plants are pushing up and filling their top nodes.

So yeah, was just thinking maybe it's not the best idea to strip your plants of unwanted fan leaves without carefully thinking it through first.

Karl.
