weird spotting on week old seedlin

I would start with a foot for a few days then bring it down close. You need it to start developing strong branching and roots. Light intensity and heat are what will do that. If you want them to stay squat keep the lights no more than 6 inches away from then on. Any distance will cause a stretch to develop.

JayRock99 seedlings do not have two weeks worth of nutrition in them. That is how you start in soil. We are talking hydro here, not fertigation, pure hydroponics. You can start your seeds how every you choose, but if you are giving bad advice, me or someone else on here will correct you.

If you wait until you see "signs" they need feeding, you have waited too long. It is now a corrective measure. For ideal results you must anticipate the plants needs and provide them at the right times.

Go half bloom and half grow once flowering begins. Stay with that formula for the entirety of the transition to full on bloom. About 2-4 weeks for most autos. Then full bllom formula for the last part.

There are two different nutrients I use. Right now I am using General Hydroponics Maxi series. The other one I use is a three part formula where you add calcium nitrate and Epsom salt. That one is called MHP masterblend by Tyler. I always use General Hydroponics additives. Armor Si, Koolbloom liquid and dry, and some humic acid I buy in powder form and make a concentrate from. One tablespoon dissolved into a quart of water. I would recommend the Maxi series for anyone new or experienced. The MHP blend is the strongest stuff I have ever used. Still doing experimentation on weed before I can tell people how to use it. Hydroguard keeps my reservoir clean and healthy.

Ya general hydroponics makes some pretty easy to understand stuff. My tomatoes love a light feeding of it.

I just added the water to my coco bricks and added the cal mag to each gal of water. It came out a lil soupy can i squeeze out the excess water w/o loosing the precharge?

It is absorbed in the fiber, no squeezing will get those minerals out. What size block did you use? It should not be soggy.
