Grow Mediums 1st timer questions on autopots.

I have ordered and recived my first autopot with airdome. I'm in a 2x2 with 200 watt cob setup. I still have some happy frog soil plan to mix 50/50 with hydroton. Do the layer hydroton at the bottom. Girl to be grown dp critical orange punch, scrog.

I'm not sure the best nutes to use I have a fox farm dirty dozen box set of nutes. Are these good for auto pots. Also. I noticed that people dont use the self feeding feature from the start. How long should a girl grow before auto feed is started?

I just lost a crop due to my own fuck up. So looking for reassurance and tips. Dont want to waste money and time again. And seeing as this is a new method for me all info helps.

I use 70/30 soil and perlite in my autopots
I don't put any extra layer of anything over the domes and it's fine without.
I use biotab nutes in my soil so the system only ever has water in it. Saves any blockages.

I top water for about 3 weeks before turning the system on

Turn ur system live at 20-23 days imo. Nutes should work, i would add hydroguard or something like that to it weekly, helped me keep lines flowing. Airdomes???

We dont have bio tabs in the states. But I may run the mephisto supersoil in it next run. This will be my first inorganic run in years.

My air dome was missing the cross conector that hooks up all 4 air tubes. I am useing the T conector it runs 3 of the 4. I dont expect this to cause to much issue

We can get biotabs in usa just not to cheap, i would get @Greenleaf Nutrients and coco coir for the feed and medium uses. IMO. I didn't use airdomes I used a 3' air diffuser line instead it works great and is only 3$. @bushmasterar15 is who helped me I'm sure he can help you out greatly here. I do know that you are going to look love them once ur going. I'm waiting for October to run mine again.

Yea those are good I hear, but with the MegaCrop it's way way cheaper, u get a nice 230g bag for shipping cost only free that's enough for least 4 runs. And it's an all in one feed. Lots of people are using it on here.
