2nd Organic Grow

Heh all, bin busy setting up my third grow (2nd Org Grow ) they are 00 Seeds Auto Bubble Gum and Cream of the Crops Auto Amphetamine under CFL. So far given them water and a simple compost of EWC and Seaweed, the 6ltr air pot on left is the Amphetamine and the Bubble Gum is in the 20 ltr air pot There 18 Days old:stylez rasta smoke:. I have a question about foliar spraying, my tap water has a Ph of 8.2 - 8.3 , shud I bring the Ph down with distilled vinegar when I mix the Liquid Seaweed with it or will this affect the Mix ?? The Ph of the Seaweed and water ( 1ml - 1 ltr H20 ) is 7.9 , or do I just leave it and just spray, ??

I use distilled water for my foliar spray.Your tap water might have floride in it that is not good.

Thanks Namvet, It's a bit pricy here, cheapest £7.00 pounds a litre, bin thinking of Boiling my tap water , do you I would get rid of any rubbish I don't want then , I do bubble my tap water for atleast 24hrs.

Wow,distiled water is only 88 cents a gallon here.That should work leaving it for 24 hrs.If your using organics I wouldn't worry about the PH.

Just a quick update on my babes, there 41 days , :stylez rasta smoke::stylez rasta smoke:thou I think I may have done a 'Newbi' mistake and got my potted seeds the wrong way round, my first post said they were Auto Bubble Gum in 20ltr and Amphetamine in the 6 ltr pot. The seed site 'stats' say that Amphetamine auto ( 45 -50 days ( xmas Smk )) and the Bubble Gum ( 60 days ( New Yr Smk )) but the 20 ltr Pot showed flowering alot earlier than the 6 ltr Pot, , ( future N.B. to myself use labels from now on )

Hi mate, your water won't have added fluoride since you're in the UK and we don't do that here, only naturally occuring fluoride which is in tiny amounts that don't hurt the plant, either root-fed or leaf-fed.

How many watts is your CFL setup ? A 20L pot seems like overkill for autos that don't grow very tall.

I grow in a 2ft x 2ft space and use 3L pots, when i used 2L pots in the same space (but the cab was a foot shorter, hence my 3L pots with new, taller cab) i got an ounce per plant from these starryders from dutch passion :

Also, a good organic compost buffers the soil so you have no need to worry about pH.

Cheers Steelrat , good to hear from a fellow uk grower. I have at the moment a 85watt 6400k and a 125watt 2700k in a home made reflector, . Yes I do agree now that maybe a 20ltr is a bit over the top thou I took this advice on about larger pots , larger yield. I recieved this when I did my Anubis in the 6ltr pot ( pics of her when nearly ready, got approx 14grm dry ). I have now read up more on this and they say 20litre is about the max, the Auto plant does not have time to utilise all that space, time wil tell I guess.
