I could replace my 1500 watt electric heater with one......... about all these are good for when they have about 18% efficiency.....

You will grow a monster plant with that light. Is it a single chip five watt or a 3 watt epiled? double chip 10 watt cheap ones do not fair as well Great grow by the way I love when people experiment with leds.

Because these Chinese lights are all junk using the lowest end LEDs, some even use rejected chips and drivers. open one up, it may scare you. I've seen bare drivers inside cheap light! and the efficiency sucks because of the cheap components. they are not a bargin, they are a waste of money period. i could grow more with an LED flashlight........lol!

And yes, a good light costs more.........or does it. I can build a DIY COB or QB board based light for the same $300.00 that will totally stomp any Chinese light, and only draw 260 actual watts. St 51% efficiency.

And watts are a meaningless way to measure these lights. You'll notice all the these junk light seller post "specs" of the lights that tell you nothing of value. Where's the PAR info? PPFD? Even lumens per watts is more usueful than anything they provide. these companies prey on new growers who are eager to get started and haven't done enough research to realize just what they are buying. I too learned the hard way. So everyone should take the time and see what good lights can do. I spent $500 to build a light that can do this, show me one of those cheapo lights that can do this:

So why does one hps600 out perform 3 of these 800 wat leds ?

I`m happy to tell you that the light is not producing that much heat. Just a fraction of my 600 Watt HPS and a little warmer than my Mars 900 Watt.

And watts are a meaningless way to measure these lights.

My biggest problem Is probably that the seedlings stopped growing on day 2 and has not changed since. The first two leafs that comes from the seedlings are still green and nice, but nothing is happening.

I`ve seen this before with other growers, and will germinate 3 new seeds if nothing has happened this weekend

Alright, so I ended up tossing the Auto Ultimate and the Think Big, they simply didn`t grow.
The Glueberry O.G is moved into a experimental closet under a HPS 250watt, as it was the only plant that might stand a chance.
This plant will probably die to testing, but at least I`ll be able to perform all the bondage I want to, just to test her limits

New seeds are germanised and should be ready later today or tomorrow.

I have to admit that I`m a little disappointed as this will set me back another 2 weeks, and I really don`t want to stress with harvest right around Christmas eve, as I probably won`t even be in this country.

Oh well, round 2!

Norway, may one ask how your grow-room looks like? Or maybe you give a tour when the girls are in action. I believe you will get decent/good result using this light, or else you wouldn't try it. Probably a bit of technique to get the best scores with it.
