This is my setup.



2x mars II 900w, i have measured and there is room in the middle for either a 1200 or another 900w. Wondering if anyone has any experience to share about the flowering spectrum versions. I basically start the grow under 1 light, when they get big enough the second light goes on Pretty sure i want to add another light that will come on as they go into flower mode, (right now) Just wonder if its worth an extra $100 and an extra week or so wait to go with a specifically flowering spectrum light.

My Solar Storm 400 stopped working tonight. It is very hot. No bulbs burnt out or anything. Could it have just overheated and will work again when it cools down or am I screwed?

Evol brother! You are fine, same has happened to my light it has a "kill switch" function if it gets to hot ..: the way I remedy the problem as suggested by Cali works who obviously knows of this issue was to tell me to hang a clip fan pointing down on the light to desperse the heat from the heat sinks or something along those lines they told me... I hung a clip fan as suggested and never had that problem since which I may add only happened during the time I had the light in flowering mode... A great feature the kill switch but faulty that it's needed and used with this light

edit: I feel your pain brother. I freaked out when the light first did it to me a month or so in after getting it.... All is good though....

I just got a LED 440W solar storm. My plants are about 35 days in, they are in preflower. Was wondering at what height you think is best.
