Hello I want to ask one prob silly thing but I cant get some accurate awnsear anywhere.
I have a led mars 2 1200w, flowering one Auto durban poisson day50-55(it was stunned for one week so no resin produced yet), the led from the top of the plant is at 50cm right now.
How close do you beleve I have to go to get the best out of it.
I start using canna boost to help the buds get fat and I want to get the best out of the lights too.
Thanks in advance!!

50cm is the height I aimed for throughout veg with my mars ii. At that height I saw fast growth and good coverage. Im flowering at 30-40cm... anyone know what equipment you could use to work out optimum hanging height? And how much it costs?

I did my hanging for the 2 scrogs panels and the lights for 15 euros some screws, I got chains to be easy to adjust it and some hooks.
I ll upload a photo when back home for you

Guys ive just just started a thread up if you could help out with it https://www.autoflower.org/f138/topled-manual-33946.html#post633434 cheers.

How many watts per square foot do you run with your LED's for optimal growth and economy? My current setup involves using 1600-1800 watts for 36 square feet So basically around 50 watts per square foot, of 5w diode LED. I am wondering if I could buy 3w diode lights and cut down on power usage...more to the point get more for less. Or set up another tent and run 2 36 square foot tents with around the same power usage using 3w diodes... Point being I would love to expand my grow space, but really want to keep the light usage under 2000watts.

with good lights and spectrum you should get away with 30-40w per square foot. With the newer high quality lights and optics the actual power of the individual LEDs isn't that important it's the output of the whole unit, just look at my Rebel chips there only driven at 1w and they out perform anything I've seen.

I'm in the process of pricing out 2 Apollo 4 units for my new (budget concsious) indoor setup and trying to finalize the spectrum, how does it look and what changes would you make?

6pcs 660nm
4pcs 630nm
2pcs 460nm
1pcs 3000K
1pcs UV (not sure if uvb or uva, hopefully between 290-320)
1pcs IR (is this 720nm?)

I'd like to get my feet wet with a cheaper model led first, decided on 2 units to create cross beam in a 4 x 2 ft tent.

I'll confirm the spectrum for IR and UV but until than how does she look?
