Hey y'all! New to growing, on my second grow and first with autos. Wondering if anyone has any good tips for me?
I'm currently growing white widow, gsc, green crack, and pineapple express in gh coco, using 3gal smart pots. I have a 3x3 tent with 2 mars 600s. I'm on day 16 and my green crack is growing super fast but looking a little pale. I'm currently using gh flora series and following a schedule from growweedeasy.
Please drop some knowledge!

to AFN @Mallory Lane I just started my 1st grow in coco myself and I think the most important thing is never water with just "plain water" A minimum of 500 PPMs seems to be preferred. I know @blue has a great read over in the coco section and there's another good basic coco thread their in the stickies also!

Thanks Need! Will definitely go check out those threads. I think maybe the paleness of the green crack may be due to the plain water. Growweedeasy's schedule states to give plain every other watering. I stopped that and been giving nutes the past 2 waterings so hopefully things will improve.

I remember that blue stated several times about never water with plain water. I think she mentioned that it will take several days before the coco gets stable again, but I don't remember all the details.

Here are the best tips I have to share.

• 1 I run boiling water through my coco before precharge to kill any unwanted bugs, fungus and rinse any salts!
• 2 Precharge your coco when you are first soaking your seed. Precharge it with full strength nutes and cal-mag then let it sit. This will prevent most calmag issues later on! When you are ready to plant your seed then flush your pots with 1/4 strength mix. Always use cal-mag right from day one... you can't go wrong with 1ml/L.
• 3 Never let your plants sit in the run off! 3.5 always make sure you have run off!
• 4 Use a scale and weigh your pots after watering to saturation. Never let pots go below 60% of saturated weight. If you do this you will have a huge white root ball @ harvest (dry coco = nute burn)
• 5 Cover the top of your coco with hydroton to limit evaporation.
• 6 When you water do a little too wet the top then wait one minute. Next water fast so the water hydraulically draws air down behind it.
• 7 Always use some kind of fertilizer mixed into your feed/flush even if it is just Cal-mag. Otherwise you will ruin the stored cations
• 8 Always run an air stone in your water to maxout o2 saturation.

I was just using 1ml/L that is 4 ml/gallon as a base, with my cobs I use close to 8ml/gallon when flower starts.
