Hey Eye ohh noo another 3 and a bit to go.
I must start bringing my lil first aid kit in with me,then i can gets a liquid lunch now and again.
Over the worst of the storms ?

All the stuff on the internet says play with your cat prior to mealtime so they burn off calories. It doesn't tell you what to do if you have an older slightly-arthritic lad who'd rather sleep most of the time and has a playful five minutes maybe ONCE over the course of the day! However a short walk on harness and lead and a good brushing session seem to help.

We've started getting our cat into food puzzles lately and he loves them. Kind of combines playing with the eating for them. There are lots of DIY ideas around the net for doing stuff like using paper towel tubes to be puzzle style treat dispensers. Might be worth checking out as they can work for older cats and there can be varying levels of difficulty/activity involved.

Always fun getting the sleeping habits of humans and pets working together...glad to hear it sounds like you're sortin' it out. :smoking:

Not my vid/cat, but this is the same toy our young cat got for Xmas and really enjoys....
