a good morning afn ! i was jok81 member but changed my account to this now !
just brought my father home from hospital for his alcohol related issues ! I had a good go at him being cuel to be kind ! whether any of it registers we will see

thanx bear ! hes 72 going on 18 an goes out like a teenager an ends up needing hospital treatment more often . I can sound hypacritical trying to help him as the element has been there within him for 50+ years but when the hospital comes in you know its being too much problematic to health to try step in to help them an say how it is !
by the way he wouldnt know how to start up a computer ! hes to old school for that ! I wish he could have a good chat to you sir !

I'm 77 and have been the route with an addiction to alcohol get him to agree to professional help if he wont listen to you or his next visit could be to an undertaker . I never needed intervention for me I quit smoking ( another addiction ) and that ended my need for alcohol . I was extremly lucky . :thumbsup:
 
thanx a lot mate , I will try and talk to him over time cheers for the recommendation bear ! hes already had 2 heart attacks and a shadow on his lung ! hes certainly like a cat , how many of the nine lives hes used up as yet im not sure lol .
hey that's amazing you quit smoking and surcomed the alcohol ! a big well done to you ! your a wise clever chap !

I remember I went on holiday to france some years ago and I never had any weed so drank while there and I felt the urge of needment of alcohol towards the end of holiday and I got home and had a drink the first day when home and thought to myself ! im not on holiday any more and it just never felt right drinking back home ! but the option of street bought crap weed was there so I got a weed and felt much better an back to norm about a week later from the holiday alcohol usage
