Since I have moved away from growing in spacebuckets and have upgraded to a 3x3 tent, I thought it only right that I move my deep blue c grow to another post. I will continue to use the other thread for my grape crinkle grow as there is only a couple of weeks left on it.

Anyway here are the specs. Mephisto genetics deep blue c f2 in soil and perlite in 10l airpot. Poundland nutes, b and q verve soil, Mars hydro 300w and Vipar 300w LEDs 20/4, tap water left to dechlorinate. I am becoming a believer that you can get good results using value products and am out to prove it. My 4 oz white and bubbly grown in a spacebucket was my first example but my grape crinkle didn't turn out so great so let's see. Here she is day 13.

Poundland nutes? Is that a company specific to the U.K.?

Yeah it's a company that sells everything for a pound. They have a range of nutes called hydro coco that is for coco or soil. They have a range of three called grow, bloom and pk13/14. It's what I use since I moved from biobizz which I just couldn't get on with. They even do a deal where you can buy 6 for £5.

Wow. It sure would be nice if we had something like Poundland in the USA!

I use something similar to the nutes you bought. My nutes, made by DynaGro, are also less expensive than the name brand "made for Cannabis" stuff. And like yours, the DynaGro nutes also work in Hydro, Soil or Coco. I used them in my last grow in soil and really liked how they performed. I will be switching to Coco when I start growing again in the fall and I'm happy I can use the very same line of nutes.

I really, really like the fact that I have nutes that will work regardless of how I choose to grow. The truth is, I probably wouldn't have decided to experiment with Coco if I had to purchase an entirely new line of Coco specific nutes in order to do so. If I wanted to, I could also throw together some quick DWC bubble buckets and use the very same line of nutes with full on Hydro set-up as well.

Personally, I think that little plant you grew (was that a 24 C?) using your generic nutes looks as good as anything grown by people using the far more expensive cannabis specific nutes.

That was a white n bubbly, grown in a cramped spacebucket. Very excited to see what I can achieve in a new tent. Looking forward to seeing your grows when you get back in the game.

That white n bubbly looks amazing, especially after I looked up spacebukets. 4oz in out of a five gallon bucket...this community is the best. I am also purchasing a tent and led setup and noticed you have both mars and vipar LEDs. I was also looking at these lights for my tent . Can you give me your opinion on the two?

IMO the Vipar is better, growth seems more vigorous under it and it seems better built. Saying that there is realistically probably not much in it. The vipar I have though doesn't seem to be available anymore as I wanted another when I bought the Mars which is more than adequate.

Do you think one is enough for 4 plant s in a 2'.7"x2'.7 space. I want to get 8oz out of that space . With 4 plants I think its do able, just how much light?

Simple answer is no. I have two in a 3x3 and think I need another.
