Mephisto Genetics Chemdogging, Sour Livers, Fantasmo Express in RDWC

Good deal. Those little ladies are on their way with hopeful thoughts of bestowing upon you a gargantuan harvest. Lots o' luck.

I know the tank can be higher and it is even an advantage as you will be able to drain it easily if necessary. I think the brain has to be on the same level as the pots because it controls the water/nutrient level in the system by using a float valve connected to the tank. It's quite important to keep the nutrient/water level just under (in mine about 2cm below) the base of the net pots.and to keep this consistent through the grow. Hope that helps!
Yeah definitely helps mate, the tank is the biggest and was the main concern, I think I will go price a few systems up, cheers mate.

Very nice set-up, I too am a long time photo grower and actually am having issues getting the hang of autos. Go figure? I use mostly DWC as well but also AutoPots, no where near the growth or yield from the AP's but they are easy and simple.
I also love nerding out on everything, from plants to lights :smoking:

Definitely along for the ride :pop:

Just dropping by to introduce myself as a new AFN joiner - looking forward to sharing info on this beautiful plant! This is my first post, so hi everyone.
@Faction Welcome to AFN. To get someone’s attention put the at-mark @ in front of their AFN name like I did for you.

I did not notice Botanicare HydroGuard on your list? I highly recommend it especially in hydro. I have grown many plants in DWC and in fact it is my favorite method. It is just too hot where I live and the reservoir temps get as high as 88°F in the summer. That is just too hot for oxygen saturation in the res. I moved to rock wool with a drip to waist system to solve the aeration problem. A side bonus is I use only about 30% of the nutes I needed in DWC. It looks like you have it dialed in but here is an article I wrote about DWC: https://www.autoflower.org/threads/deep-water-culture-basics-bubbleponics.64478/

I absolutely love the fantasmo Express! It starts slow but will pack on some size later on.

Welcome aboard @RivetGrrl - and I too have found Autos much less forgiving than photoperiod plants. They seem much more sensitive to the environment but I love how quick they develop.

Yes can't beat the speed that's for sure. I am doing a grow with some Dinafem quick strains as well, and I am super impressed with those too. Made clones to experiment with as well.

@Mañ'O'Green - thanks for the link, I will defo give that a read - always up for learning - "every day's a school day", right? About Hydroguard, you're right I'm not using it and so far my DWC grows have been OK in terms of root health, mainly because I have a nutrient chiller and never let the temp go above 23C (around 70F).

I would consider it an insurance policy especially since all reservoirs are on the same system just my :2cents:.
