Mephisto Genetics Chemdogging, Sour Livers, Fantasmo Express in RDWC

I absolutely love the fantasmo Express! It starts slow but will pack on some size later on.

Mephisto genetics rock although I am having some issues with my Sour Livers - I only got 2 viable plants out of 5 seeds and now one of those is giving me cause for concern. I'm going to include some pictures tomorrow. Hopefully I'm just being a bit over-anxious :)

DAY 10
Nutrient: 0.7 EC, 23C, pH 6.0
Air temperatures: Day 26C Night 23C RH 60%

All good except ongoing problems with Sour Livers and I'm feeling like I was sold a bad batch of seeds (from Mephisto web-store). First a shot of whole tent:

You can see I have a new seedling in the bottom left pot - this was to replace a Sour Livers seedling that stalled after the second set of leaves.

I kept it as long as I could but it just didn't progress, in stark contrast to the other plants. By this time I had chucked my remaining Chemdogging spare! So I literally had to search through the bin in my kitchen and thankfully it was still in one piece but a bit sad looking after 48 hours in there!!! Anyway it is now in the pot and already perking up. I find the Chemdogging strain very vigorous so am confident she will be OK. Here she is today:

The other plants are doing great:

So on the Sour Livers issue - out of five seeds, 2 didn't pop, 3 made it to seedling stage but only 1 has been viable enough to warrant a place in the grow. I bought the seeds from the Mephist web-store but remember thinking the seeds looked a bit small and one was very pale when I first opened the vial. Don't get me wrong, I'm a huge fan of Mephisto genetics but can't help feeling disappointed. Maybe it is unfair to blame the breeder but none of the other seeds had any problems at all in my hands. In total I germinated 6 Chemdogging - all of which are now in the grow (one even after 48 hours in my kitchen bin!!), 2 Fantasmo Express, both of which are in the grow and 5 Sour Livers, only one of which is in the grow. Still, I've now got 9 good plants on the go and am looking forward to the journey ahead. Happy growing everyone.

@Faction i know how you feel with the livers. I got 3 24 carat seeds. None sprouted. Sent an email got 3 more sent and only one sprouted..so 1 in 6. So far with mephisto white crack i am 1 for 1 germination though. So unsure.. we may have got the bad luck of the draw or someyhing.. idk

I guess at the end of the day there are no guarantees with a natural product like seeds - just one of those things and I wouldn't have it any other way. Cheers.

Yep, i work in the fields for farmers soil sampling for a lab. Believe me ill take 1 in 6 germ odds before i plant some round up ready beans or some special corn seed thats purple and covered in stuff for germination and allthis and that. I know its gotten so bad in midwest they saying due to deer and stuff eating the seeds and pesticide crops that the wild game is unhealthy to eat

I would consider it an insurance policy especially since all reservoirs are on the same system just my :2cents:.

@Mañ'O'Green - I have been researching Hydroguard and like what I have found out about it. In this grow I am already using a "live" additive - Mammoth P but hopefully the two can co-exist - have emailed the Mammoth P folks for clarification. Peace.

I have used them together without issues.
