Mephisto Genetics Chemdogging, Sour Livers, Fantasmo Express in RDWC

@Mañ'O'Green Hello fellow grower! Just wanted to say how much I enjoyed your Incredible Bulk journal from a few years back - I just stumbled across it a few days ago and it was a very interesting read. Do you still grow with those large rockwool cubes with drippers?
I do.

DAY 29
Nutrient 1.1 EC, 21/22C, pH 5.7
Temperatures: Day 26C Night 22C RH 60%

I've started using Shogun HydroBloom but there is still plenty of HydroGrow feed in the system and reservoir so it will be a gradual switch-over. Increased strength slightly to 1.1 EC which is less than the manufactures recommended minimum (1.3 EC) but the girls are not complaining! Interstingly, the Chemdogging that was not defoliated in veg (plant CD1) is slightly larger and generally better looking than the others. I am still planning on defoliating in flower (starting this week) but will leave CD1 alone. Also added Shogun Sumo Active Boost @ 1ml/l and will use it to the end.

View media item 19589CD3 - my phone camera colour balance was different for this shot for some reason.

View media item 19591Sour Livers - she has the most Indica genetics in the tent (80%) but has the narrowest leaves and is generally looking a bit strange but has lots of flower sites going on.

View media item 19592Fantasmo Express 1 - broke the stem near the top but have taped her up and am hoping not to lose the top cola.

View media item 19593Fantasmo Express 2 - very nice shape and has just had a bit of LST and minimal pruning or defoliation.

View media item 19594Sour Livers is top right, Fantasmo Express 1 is middle left and Fantasmo Express 2 is bottom right. All the rest are Chemdogging (beasts!!)

Realy Nice :d5: can't wait for the Bloom stage.

Thanks for the kind words and for looking at my journal - much appreciated my friend. I'm also eagerly awaiting some serious flower action - the veg weeks have been a bit boring (but in a good way) as nothing really went wrong.

DAY 30
Nutrient 1.0 EC; 21/22C; pH 5.8
Environment: Day 27C RH 50%; Night 22C RH 70%

Quick update - made first defoliation of lower cycle & some pruning of lower/weak branches. All Chemdogging ladies (except CD6 which was germinated later than the others) received a trim, including CD1 which was not defoliated in veg but I have decided to defoliate her in flower along with the others. Happy growing!

I have to keep reminding myself that CD6 (bottom left plant) spent 48 hours in my kitchen bin as a seedling! She's about 8 days behind the others.

P.S.
Did some HST as well - Both Fantasmo Express plants and Sour Livers to keep them roughly the same height as the Chemdogging beasts. The Fantasmo I snapped yesterday is fine but still taped up.

Looking at the plants colour, I think they can handle some stronger feed and the Fantasmo that was showing signs of N tox earlier in the grow is much improved. Going to take them up to EC 1.2 (still under Shogun's recommended minimum of 1.3).
