now that you mention coco... was it bagged coco, not bricks? I've seen several people having the same problem and all were using bagged coco, Bigsm0 had a terrible problem with them.

the issue not on the coco though, the issue along the side of fabric pots and down near bottom of pots where it gets damp or stays damp.. I treated the top.. and still am problem is sides of them fabric pots.I been spraying them as well, but doing nothing to stop them from coming back.

They come from somewhere. My guess is that somewhere is not the fabric pot. My guess is the soil you bought had some eggs.
Have heard of this happening. More so with fox farms. Ironically. I and cannadon both using ff and both seen some gnats.

So treating soil should save the fabric pot from ever seeing them
nope, I do not use soil for one... I use coco and there was nothing until I started using them pots, someone asked what I though I gave my opinion.. I'm not a first time grower, I know what caused it..

bricked coco impossible to have anything living in it,...

even if they snuck into the tent, my point is/was they were only on the two fabric pots and not on the coco itself, I think everyone missing that part

I didnt mean it as negative my man. Just meant it as the fabric pot is not the source. All i was getting at is eliminate source and the wont utilise the breeding ground.

Which i cant argue damp fabric will harbor some shit haha. That is true. But avoidable.
In your case by using something else. Lol.

Was not meant to down play you or anything. You know your shit. No one is questioning that my man.
:bighug:

yep, its why I use bricks/bales. Here's something worth a try ( try it on one plant first.. ) mix 70% Isopropyl with and equal amount of water and spray daily till they are gone. Now using it on the pot... I don't know, but the alcohol evaps quickly, so it should be ok. I know for a fact it works to spray the plants with. One does of Captain Jacks and 2 weeks daily spraying and I'm not seeing one damned spidermite! Now using it weekly and will for the next 3 months. hopefully this will totally eliminate them from my indoor grows. They have no defense as the alcohol dehydrates the little terrorists......
